Werribee totally turned the tables that quarter as we lost control of the stoppages. We gave them 2 of their 7 goals that quarter with players getting caught holding the ball dead in front.

Have the breeze going into the last only 8 points down and only 4 goals have been kicked against it. But it looks like both Terlich & King are done for the day and with the rain starting to fall, we could be in trouble.

In all the time I've been following KC's (and also now yours) I've noticed one thing - Casey certainly knows how to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory. And I wonder where they got that from?

The rain has come in and the wind dropped so ... bad news for Casey.

Of course it has. Ta KC

I'll ask KC to interrupt Justin Plapp's three quarter time speech to ask him the question.

Could we equip him with a mic also WJ, just in case he's not heard the first time?

He was just asking / musing - no need for the sarcasm.

Come on Jumbo, it was funny.

I've got a good feeling about this KC. Bring us home.

Sorry, I'm a bit testy today....snowed under with correction.

Give the two bit punks all D's.

These commentators are useless. Tell us Terlich is off and then continue to call his name as playing! Very frustrating. Stop trying to be comedians and just call the players you twats.

Werribee have defended beautifully and held out the Scorpions - a win assisted by the conditions and the fact that Terlich and King were off injured for much of the second half.

King's injury is a hamstring.

I hope you didn't have to get your medical degree and then go down into the rooms to harass the medical staff to find that out KC... ;)

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits.
