It's a very serious but by no means insurmountable injury and comeback that Jack must face.

He's got the right mentality, temperament and god-given talent to play football at a very high level - he's just gotta get that one little bone in his foot right.

In response to the OP, I believe Jack under Neeld was trying to mold himself into something of an inside midfielder. With a bit more physical development, experience and match hardness, he could carve himself out a very good career in the middle IMHO.

We have kept much bigger duds on our list for much longer.... I wish him all the luck in the world but IMO I think he is 5% chance of making it.

Bloody oath we have had and still do but I don't consider him a spud. I'd like him to play with us not against us.

the AFL is going to reduce the rotations over a few years, & this will suit endurance players like Jack t.

That was a knee not a foot. Won Tigers B & F and was very important player for them does a knee and never the same again. Retired from AFL and won a couple of flags bck to back B grade followed by A Grade with the Tigers of Wesley Curtin in WAAFL

Funny, never saw anyone question his speed, or decision making, when he was fully fit in 2010/11

If his foot does come good I really hope he chooses to stay with us.

It would be perfectly understandable if he requested a change of scenary, particularly given that he was nearly traded to Richmond.

I don't think he has a choice. It's either stay with us or choose to go into the lottery that is the draft and hope to get picked up very late in the draft, I doubt that we will just give him away.

Was really struggling before he got injured, really lacked pace for an outside player. Already 2 seasons gone and if he is fully fit after that next year will be all about finding his feet again, so he is a very long way off getting a regular game again let alone making an impact.

Perhaps he and club thought a fresh start at another club was the best thing for him, he went for the medical, so he must have been willing to go, rather than being offloaded as you say, I have spoken to him previously about his, and is quite comfortable with the whole scenario. Main thing now is to get fit and see what happens, will try and speak to him tomorrow if he appears in the fresh air, hasn't tweeted, could have been advised not to and let Misson in his injury report update officially
