Bartlett was a Failed Coach at Richmond who knows not what it takes to mold a team into a premiership winning combination!. Ralphy has no "Football" pedigree that I'm aware of!

Opinions are like Bum holes, everyone has one!

Bartlett also held a grudge for years whinging about the fact that he would never return to the club as long as those who sacked him were still there!

A loser's mentality if ever there was one.

If people want to agree with Kev and Ralphy's Gloom and Doom, then that's Fine!

I am tipping the DEES to be the Monster improvers this year!

KB will be at family day shaking his head and swallowing balls.

At least he is still working.

Considering the only radio stations SEN is beating in the ratings are News Radio and ABC Classic FM they might want to revisit their strategy of throwing tripe at the wall and hoping somebody shows an interest. Mind you KB's shift is the only one that went up so WTF do I know.

what KB and Denham have ever said about us has actually been true. If you don't like the "tough word" on some home truths then you are delusional.

We were rubbish, and still pretty much are. Better, yes, but still mostly rubbish.

Suck it up and be a realist.

At least they haven't got Andy Maher in that time slot. His whining voice just turns off my radio.

I had thought the Lions were a basket case not that long ago.

Now I have them firmly in the eight and definitely on the rise.

Things can change quite quickly in this competition - particularly when a club has a CEO like PJ and a coaching staff consisting of the likes of Roos, McCartney and Goodwin.

As to free agency - pick 3 for Frawley was to my mind very adequate compensation.

Carlton and Essendon no longer seem to be the powerhouses they have traditionally been either.

Brisbane have an awesome midfield and that alone will probably get them 8-10 wins for the season, but they have Josh Green, Merrett and Luke Mcquane up forward and they went after Beams instead of going for someone to replace Brown.

Stole the words out of my mouth!

Some seriously delusional supporters on here. You have summed it up best for me.

This was Johnny Ralph not Denham. However I suspect Denham has a special spot for MFC just because he is so critical and knows so much detail about us. Today on SEN he said he was off to lunch with Roos and talked in detail about how we are finally on the right track. He may be so critical because he has some interest.

i was speaking of Denham in the past, as those two (kb and denham) are usually paired. Some people round here like to live in "pretend" land where we are not one of the crappest modern football teams in the world, take the hyperbolic training reports/hype of the previous 5 years for example (there are other examples too).

Have said this many times before, the negativity we have copped from the journos over the years has been harsh, brutal, unrelenting but rarely wrong and quite deserved. Get in the real world, suck it up and accept it and move on, because we have deserved/ still deserve everything we get until we start winning games and making good of field decisions (which I feel we are starting to do).

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
