Jesus, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Wouldn't call it the wrong side of the bed, just sick of wading through the utter shite in the hope of coming across something worthwhile, which their wasn't.

But like I said, don't let that stop you. Go and post yet more dribble about the birds and how it's Kennedy and why it should be so. It's enlightening stuff.

I gave a reasonable solution to the riddles in an attempt to minimise said 'shite' that gets posted. If enough people read it, maybe there won't be as many posts trying to solve it.

If anything, blame the people who posted the riddles.

Maybe you should stay away from trade period... I fear for your blood pressure

Don't understand why people take GFN serious. The guy is just obviously soaking up the attention and taking the [censored] out of it.

Of course he wont say names. only when the rumour comes out he tries to claim that he had it all along.

GNF's track record is far better than yours - is it jealousy perhaps?

I'm enjoying trying to crack the riddle.

It HAS to be Kennedy.

Pick 3, Watts & Toumpas for Danger & Pick 10.

Pick 10 for Kennedy.

Pick 23 & Trenners for Pick 12.

Clark in a 3 or 5 way deal for HL and the mid to late 3rd Rnd pick needed for Frost.

In: Danger, Kennedy, Brayshaw (Pick 2), Lever (Pick 12), Stretch (Pick 41 or whatever it is), Jetta (Pick 81 RL upgrade), HL, Garlett, Frost.

Out: MC, Frawley (Pick 3), Watts, Trenners, Toumpas, Pick 23, Pick 61, Byrnes (Retired) + delistings: Nicho, Clisby, Strauss, Blease & Tapscott.

Now that's 2 elite players who would rank ahead of our current best in Jones, still allows us to draft the 2 players we are supposedly into & whilst bringing in talent who are ready to perform right now while are still building for the future with 3 bright prospects. Yes I'm trying to satisfy all the BS rumors that have been floated here...... No I'm not saying this will happen.

But if we could pull something like this off, I believe the list will have really truly moved on from previous mental scarring and gives a bunch of young men, who may not see or agree it as needed yet, a fresh start elsewhere.

Kennedy would be worth 10 and 12

Its the saints - our likely trade partner [as in team] that is black and white but is not a little bird [not collingwood]

And that's only if he wants to leave, and because it's Paul Roos.

Doubt we'd get a deal done for Kennedy for only pick 10. Frost more than likely PSD

Prove it...

I would like to see what this track record is, can you provide evidence and not just sweeping statements. I'm thinking this has become some kind of urban myth.

Always knew he'd end up at Richmond.

Can't happen, he is on $1.2m a year for the next three. He won't pass that up, Tigers won't match it and they certainly won't give pick 12 for him.

Posted

Reality check needed.

1. Kennedy signed a contract extension with Sydney this year.

2. The Swans are the bloody Swans and he lives there with his extremely hot misses (who works there).

3. Even if, by some hand of god Kennedy was going through a break up and didn't want to win premierships anymore, he would cost us pick 2 and 3 without doubt... Some of the pick 12 and Toumpass comments are just showing everyone that you don't watch footy unless Melbourne is playing.

This thread is aptly titled 'Potential Trades', a place where gossip, rumours and innuendo are welcomed. Many of us are interested in what these 'riddles' may mean, and Scythe kindly put forward a fairly rational conclusion to one of them. If you're here purely to trawl through 'something worthwhile', I suggest you come back here on 2pm Thursday.

I was being facetious, but wasn't very clear about it, I agree with you though, no one is dumb enough to take on toxic Phil's diabolical contract of a lifetime. Apart from sheedy of course.

Tongue in cheek

Damnit, that was always the flaw in my proposal. But he will be 28 before next year and body battle weary from all these finals campaigns...... Ok, I'm clutching at straws, he is worth more :-(

Actually he turns 27 halfway through next year.

Didn't know any of this.... Ok, which idiot put me onto Kennedy?

Back to Coniglio I go!!!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
