George Dubbya is a colossal gumby though... makes me think more warmly of our Tony ( but that's for another thread !) ;)

I think Abbott is worse than Bush but better than Gillard...

The 97% of scientists study has been widely debunked. You only need to google it to see the number of papers on it. I post a link only because you did as well.

http://www.theguardian.com/environment/blog/2014/jun/06/97-consensus-global-warming/print

I am happy to argue any of the points but really don't want to get into an argument over who can post the most supporting links.

Fair enough, but even if the method is disputed, he doesn't dispute the overall findings. As stated in that very article:

"Successive literature reviews, including the ones by the IPCC, have time and again established that there has been substantial climate change over the last one and a half centuries and that humans caused a large share of that climate change."

So there can be argument on the semantics. It's widespread agreement.

well you & 'we all', wouldn't know, as her government wasn't allowed to govern properly, with u.n.c.l.e. 'NO', the rabbot,,, the ruddstir & the ruperts papers All fighting like spoilt brats, determined to wreck everything from her out of spite.

we don't really know just how she could have governed, with colleagues with some fight & some ability to sell their concepts. the people would have been abler to form their own views unclouded by all the bias in the medias during that time.

the 'rabbot' has had plenty of time & a fair go to show his wares, & alas his wares are the stumbling block the people turned their noses up at, & his twitching nostrils, & so now has uncle rupert.

the wheel has come full circle back on the 'rabbot'. & its abbout to run over him... 6 months I'll give him as his hide tans out in the sun.

as for Gillard, we won't truly know, as she didn't get a fair & even shot at governing,,, with the 'rabbot', 'ruddstir', the 'mining conglomerates', & 'rupert', the 'other rabbot', all knifing her at the same time; who could?

What do you think of Labor opposing bills (now) in opposition that formed part of their platform in the lead up the election?

It's irresponsible.

But Shorten's just copying a tactic which Abbott himself perfected - opposition for opposition's sake.

And as it says in the Bible, in Politicians 21:6: Ye shall reapeth what thou have soweth

I've heard this mentioned a few times but can't seem to find which bills it is referring to. Do you know?

On face value it is a reckless position to take, but I'd like to know which ones it is in reference to, and any surrounding details on why they are being blocked.

what bills w45, I've been away from the PC & media down in melbourne for 2 days

can you explain?

are you saying the Libs are getting environmentally friendly w45?

what will Hunt do about the Japanese whalers & government, who threaten they will ignore the 'International Law' whaling bans next year? will the libs send a ship down there to keep the bastards out of our areas? Maybe the Japanese will hunt whales with the Submarines u.n.c.l.e. Tony wants/has to buy from them, to satisfy u.n.c.l.e. Sam?

As people hear tales of your villainy on here Daisy, they have progressively come around to wanting to be involved in taking you down. I could do the job alone but I wish to share the experience amongst the many and numerous.

Expect us to invade Borewood in the not too distant future on our low rider bikes. We will look like vikings due to the beards.

Oh come on Daisy! I thought you were familiar with hipster culture. I thought dragging you in front of the politburo was going to take some effort. It will seem like an anti-climax when it does happen.

They would move to Borewood and those outer eastern suburbs but watching the traffic lights change for fun is not everyone's cup of tea.

rofl, good stuff.

I myself live in the outer eastern suburbs. One day I will migrate from the lower-middle class to the upper-middle! Mwahahahaha!

On that day, the two of us can grab a coffee and some new Mercs together.

I reserve the right to buy a Range Rover instead though.

If Daisy had been born a woman, I am pretty sure this is what he would have ended up like.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
