What do U know, I had it over it his still quitter, the mind is a powerful thing, mitch should have quit last year we might have got that pp sooner

What the F?

You are very sad angrydemons, you don't understand that Mitch is ill. This is not his fault and he is not in control of his illness at the moment.

Do you have any idea how hard it would be to quit a job paying approx $800k pa with no alternative income in sight?

man still going to be paid next year 10 times more then me

Angry, I invite you to pretend for a moment that Mitch has lung cancer instead of depression. Ask yourself whether your attitude to his predicament would be different. Would you still be reacting in this way?

My guess is that the answer is no... and you would do well to contemplate the reasons why.

N.Jones no champ where did he go in the last qt v gws, did not have one possie, thars where champions stand up when game is to be won.

Could you proof read and use correct punctuation. I have trouble understanding what you are writing about. And when/if I do understand it seems to be mainly angry drivel.

If English is a second language to you I apologise.

You have an amazing ability to make illogical, irrational and ignorant comments totally illegible.

He's not wrong, though.

That's legitimate. The rest of your posts are crap.

Consider this.

Mitch Clark makes a claim through Workcover for injuries and illness resulting from his employment at the MFC.

He would be well within his rights to continue to be paid for the term of his contract. Further he could make claims for long term losses to income resulting from those injuries/illness.

Has Mitch Clark done this? NO. He has honorably and in my opinion bravely retired.

What angrydemon is paid is irrelevant and is more to do with his obvious abilities or lack thereof.

Might say more about you than him.

(This is my last response to any more of angrydemons posts on this topic. He's never going to understand the difference between being empathetic and just pathetic.)

Understanding doesn't even come into the equation when you're a troll; in fact it's a hinderance.

mate, N. Jones has been the only one who has stood up for us the past 4 years.
God forbid, he has one bad quarter! Even your champions of the game don't play well EVERY game of their career, and i would argue that Jonesy is more consistent than some of them!

Don't feed the troll!

Unfortunately calling someone a troll implies that the person putting forward views knows the very insidious nature of the views being espoused but puts them forward knowing they will inflame the debate.

I don't think that this is a case of trolling.

Seems likely.

Stupidity, alcohol, ego. The supidity and ego seem evident, I'm presuming the alcohol was a part once the fdsg gfershnk nerrrmaa writing skills crept in.

In support of 'angrydee' - may I suggest that 'angrydemons' have a name change to something more appropriate. Sookydemons? Tantrumdemons? Iusuallygetmywaybyheadbuttingdoorsdemons?

I think Graeme Osborne held the distinction of sitting on the bench for 12798 games in a row.

When he retired he was fresh as a daisy.

I like your quote re Sean Wight.

He was born in Scotland moved to England when he was 10 and trialed for Fulham soccer club.

An all Australian 1987 and hall off fame member and played 150 games for us.

He would have won the golden fist.

Peggy, we won't forget Sean.

I think he might also hold the record for the highest number of omissions from and promotions to the senior team. He seemingly invented the 'revolving door' concept.

Let me preface this by the fact that most of us have no empathy with bonefide mental illness.

I don't know enough from the outside to praise him or otherwise.

In this era of psychobabble, and over-positivity and everyone's-a-winner-under-10, do we have to redefine what "mental toughness" is?

We hear it lauded on guys like Steve Waugh, Joel Selwood etc...

Is 'mental toughness' now a slight on the mentally ill?

As I said before, my view is that Clark will play for Fremantle in latter 2015.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
