Gremlins at work with the orignal link. Fixed. Gut feeling, luck, and players getting high possesions. Lots of reading DT web sites. (What Warnie says treat with a grain of salt) I hope that helps. Dr Dream team if he is still going was a dud.

OH and in 2013 staying well clear of everyone wearing a red & blue jimper. This year IF a few can pull their finger out, we could see a sharp raise in their value. Allowing to either upgrade to a prem player or downgrade to a rookie and make some $$.

You should be milking the info from the guys in the Legends League

Here is an old but novel way to select players for your dream team. T$ all the way through this looks like he just lost his money wallet.

Before making plans on cutting players form your list, take into account the players feelings.

I have included him but have him on the bench.

It was a bit of a squeeze to get him on there (cant afford too many $200k plus benchers)

But he will stay depending on when he is predicted to return. Might be better value to play someone and gain some money then purchase him.

Either way, at that price and for his skills he will be in my team no matter what.

Anyone considering him?

Definitely rate him higher than the rookie price he is given considering he has had an extra year on everyone.

Only issue is that I can't see him breaking into the best 22 and getting regular games for a quick cash cow.

If there are injuries then before him in line as replacements would be Evans, Salem or Barry.

Having said that Roos said he doesn't expect Salem to play a lot of footy this year...

Clark is on my short list. If he plays most of the season his value should rise. But so far I'm not convinced its worth the risk.

I'm a bit concerned with the AFL Fanasty 'bug' that allows to save your team when you have exceeded your salary cap.

It might save it now, but if its not fixed soon, is your team selection still valid come the 1st game?

I could fill my team with Prems and not have to use many trades for the whole year.

Up until the weekend, he has been in my team since I started I first started getting it together (which was just after Christmas). He's out because there are just too many signs that he won't be playing round one. I try to start of my team with all players starting to give myself a better chance of making money with rookies. But that could easily change if he plays in the last NAB and is named for round one.

And just a quick proviso with all of this - atm my team and strategies centre around SuperCoach but my teams end up fairly similar - maybe that's why I don't do as well as I can in AFL Fantasy.

Pimp my team. Lack of fitness with some of these players might be my downfall.

I had a few issues with the AFL Fantasy software at the beginning. I had to use up my vintage web browser "De Lorean" and was then able to select my team for 2014. There are still a few changes to be made before I finalise the team. Any suggestions??

I was having salary cap issues It was getting top heavy in the forward line, someone had to miss out. Neitz drew the short straw. Tassie for Neitz?

Melbourne Fantasy preview The night is darkest before the dawn, and The Traders can see the light at Demonland.

Heritier Lumumba looks a Fantasy force again after a switch to Melbourne.

1. Heritier Lumumba (DEF/MID) $402,000

In 2013, Lumumba was one of the premium defenders in the competition, averaging 88. He started his 2014 campaign in fine style for the Pies, averaging 91 in his first five games, but from there it was all downhill. He finished the year averaging 71, making him a great under-priced option this year. Now in the red and blue, Lumumba should return to his best and the NAB Challenge signs were good.

2. Ben Newton (MID) $192,000

Newton played four games with Port Adelaide last year, but wore the sub's vest on three occasions. He averaged 98 in the SANFL and is looking for more opportunities this season, something Paul Roos is ready to give him.

3. Jesse Hogan (FWD) $194,000

After not playing a game last year because of persistent back issues, Hogan is $70,000 cheaper than his 2014 price and is ready to make an impact. Yet to make a senior debut, the Demons' forward hopes sit heavily on the shoulders of this young giant.

4. Christian Salem (FWD) $193,000

A new role playing off half-back this pre-season has put the former first round draft pick on the Fantasy radar. His last two NAB Challenge scores of 118 and 91 have seen his stocks rise and a popular cheap forward selection. Look out for him to gain defender status prior to round six.

5. Aaron vandenBerg (MID) $120,000

Set for a round one debut, vandenBerg is one to watch. He averaged 32 touches and 127 points in the NEAFL last year. A cheap option and his NAB Challenge form was outstanding.
