Heard the Koch interview and his use of the word compensation is spot on. After the initial response to the guy from a lot in the media and football in general (must admit to wondering what he was doing as President of a club) he's proving to be a big asset for the AFL.

When I first saw the thread title I didn't know if the author of the thread was in love with Paul Johnson or Peter Jackson.

I agree that Jackson appears to be a better fit for the MFC than previous leaders such as Ray Ellis, Paul McNamee and Steve Harris.

PJ is so great for the Dees, but while he's being discussed I'm so impressed with what David Koch has done with PA. I have no interest in him on TV, but he's done for Port exactly what I want for Melbourne. He's put their name out there, in this guernsey saga he's put his foot down and said I won't settle for PA being the second club in this state. I hope in a few years Melbourne are doing the same and saying I don't stand to be compared with WB and Saints, we want to stand with Carlton Richmond etc.

Port will always be the Bogan Central, but i agree with your sentiment.

That said Sunrise is the worst program on TV now that Today Tonight died last week...i still cannot consider David Koch a serious Human...But he suits the PAP (smears) beautifully.

I love PJ

He been the best thing for the MFC since the 2000 Grand Final appearance.

He can make hard decision when needed and is not a media junkie. Well respected in the industry, which help with the rebuilding of the Clubs credibility.

Plus I think he is BBO and Biff's pin up boy.

Just finished listening to PJ's speech and to be honest, it wasn't brilliant oratory. However, we don't need a speech maker. We need a CEO. We have had enough speech makers and BS artists at the club. What PJ lacked in oratorical flair, he made up for in an ability to just tell things as they are.
