I was thinking along the same lines..... lets hope he isn't a demonlander or maybe hope he is?

Anyone know him personally? - could give him a little nudge

All well and good but what brand would he need to advertise ?

Posted

Can we blame CS for this?

sponsorships have been hard to get since the sydney olympics.. it seems to have gotten more difficult every year since.

you can't blame Cam for that. we were lucky to have gotten the money we did from the energy sponsorship,,, better than naught, I would have thought.

We can possibly blame Schwab for not locking down one major sponsor for a long term deal. Hopefully WebJet stay around which gives us some stability.

If you want to buy some votes Mr Stockdale then show us a sponsor.

Bennelong.

I don't know what it is or what they sell or do but given the exposure we usually get, it will be value for money. We were on the back page of the Hun and the Age more times in the past year than Collingwood, I reckon.

Now exists to upgrade NT to major sponsor ??

Oh please don't.

who cares...its just money hey DC !! :)

what like nubrik? lexus, not easy to do at a club with such a perennially thin & quiet conservative supporter base.

if stockdale wants to entice any votes, he better 'spell out' what his plans are. what he sees our failings are, & how he' wants to go about fixing them.

It is amazing that Opel came to Aus in the first place.

It is the European division of GM.

GMH sold a few of their brands for years as holdens.

I have a few friends in the Auto industry and every one said this will not work.

Australia is one of the toughest car markets in the work and they came with one modern model (Astra )

and a couple of others that were average cars.

All sold at higher prices to the competitors.

Perhaps we could suck back up to Volvo?

When we buy jumpers from the demon shop can the sponsors logo's be put on with velcro? Every year I buy a new jumper because mine is out of date.

Geez it would be nice to have a sponsor for more than 1 or 2 bloody seasons.

For the love of god some consistency in this area would be nice.

Actually some consistency in ALL areas of the MFC would be nice.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
