Not to mention one of Carlton or Richmond bowing out.

I am looking forward more to Saturday night when Rudd and McGuire both say goodnight!

Posted

Is anyone else hoping Carlton wins just so Richmond go to 8th, but we can tell their fans it should be 9th because of Essendon?

How divine would it be for Richmond to be tossed out of the finals by the team that finished ninth.

Almost God like.

I'm impressed you're only at impatient.

I think most of us left impatient in our wake several days and several hundred posts ago.

Lol well I started making christmas cards to focus on something else!

Rumour is Roos has been waiting for post 5000 to come up and use it for his annoucement.

Where is a spambot selling Viagra pills when you need one?

If we're lucky Barrett will tell us who will win the 2002 Melbourne Cup.

I'm just hanging off any mention we get. The more it is mentioned the more I can try and rest easy and convince myself it is happening!

Where does the rumour that the announcement is going to be tomorrow come from? From all the things that i can see, points to the announcement (if there even is one) being next Tuesday

Apparently it was announced on Triple M and SEN yesterday.

If he is right about the sponsors coming on board quickly after Roos is signed, then this has been done for a while.

We got Roos and then asked a few people - you want to get in on something?

A great article by the OX, mirroring what the majority of supporters also feel. With Roos, Jackson & Barrett, we will attract new sponsors and get members returning. With Hogan and (hopefully) Boyd dominating the forwardline we will attract the gun midfielders on board which we urgently need.

2014 here we come!

In all seriousness I can almost guarantee Barrett will use the opportunity to argue against Melbourne getting a PP (not that his opinion matters).

Paul Roos has turned down the Melbourne job to take on an even bigger challenge:

Leader of the Labor Party. Labor are hoping that with his sudden appointment as PM, it will help boost their popularity to victory on Saturday. Roos will be sworn in as PM and cast his vote simultaneously on Saturday morning...

Well, the flood would be one way to stop the boats.

You just killed a few older posters if my 28 year old heart is anything to go by.

You should be banned or forced to follow Richmond.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
