We "LET HIM bounce around positions" do we?

By we I mean the club, and don't we?

Started as a forward. Neeld arrives, plays him on the wing with mixed results. Around May last year trials him as a defender, mainly as the loose man again with up and down results. He gets injured then comes straight back into the team as a defender and is poor. Starts this year with a promising NAB cup as a defender then struggles in early games. Goes forward against Essendon then out of the game. Again starts the Brisbane game with a nice mark going back with the flight, after that he seems way off his man until he moves forward and leads up a couple of times but really doesn't do anything spectacular then is injured and out of the team.

Moral of the story have we actually established what position this guy can play? Is it back or forward? Has he ever put a dominate stretch in the reserves in one position that will show us he will own that position in the AFL with development.

He went forward as a 17/18 y.o and was pretty influential, IIRC.

Put Frawley forward. Carlton's bigs won't do anything. Just try it for a round, not going to be the difference between winning and losing.

Last time we tried something like that, they fined us $500,000.

I suspect he'll be eternally grateful for you pointing out the bleeding obvious.

Why are you back here?

What has allowed you to sidle back on here - a place you deride, with members and moderators you not only do not care for, but have no respect for?

Is it because this community is on fire and this is the only time that your brand of arrogant dismissiveness and spirited dislike of this community is swallowed up by the constant calls for Neeld's sacking, McLardy's removal, and the forlorn need to make Peter Jackson the latest harbinger of salvation?

Think he might have hurt his hammy in the 2nd quarter, he was trying to chase someone but looked to be struggling to run

[censored] off. You're an irrelevance.

That's a shame. Can I just say that I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the headline "Trengove out for 10 weeks".

Is there any difference between Dawes doing stuff all in VFL or AFL? Plonk him and Gawn/Jamar in the forward line.

Yes, the difference is ridicule and scrutiny from the media and us (the fans).

If he plays AFL and does nothing all the naysayers will be out and about.

If he plays Casey and doesn't do much everyone will just say "he is coming back from injury etc."

I wouldn't get so excited about whether I am using a possessive adjective or a pronoun - I am just stipulating that the glee with which wyl talks about Neeld's Thrashings are occuring at wyl's club, and my club, and your club, and our club.

Understand?

And don't call me a sniper.

R-C, my grammatical skills have not left me and I was just wondering why you do on a number of occasions say "your" in referring to "our" club.

So, my humble apologies are forthcoming and I will never second guess "your" allegiances again.

4 days until we see the end of Neeld.

Thank God!

Sadly for your joyous reaction to the news on this thread - it may be hard to sack a coach when several players are out at once and you are playing against a side that has found form. You may just have to hang in there till we play the Suns.

I didn't make the comment with any GLEE at all..

I don't like losing at all...But i fear a Smashing on Sunday.

Understand?

Don't presume every post rpfc...Mark Neeld has his back right against the wall now, if he can turn it around he keeps the job...But it is up to him.

His comment about Moloney was very ordinary.

I am not going anywhere, but you can '[censored] off' for about the tenth time if you want to.

You keep coming back so your love of this community is obvious. Maybe you should show this place the respect you obviously have for it otherwise I hope you soon reach your much talked about 'tipping point' for support of this club and leave.

I am sorry he is injured; I'm happy for someone else to get a go in his spot however.

Wherever that is.

I wonder if another coach at any other club could rescue his career.

Former Melbourne Football Club legend Peter 'Crackers' Keenan says Jack Watts will be @Fremantle_FC in 2014 @913sportfm

So he can take his troubles to freo there.

On a serous note I hope he can be back in time for the richmond match.

As long as we get Nat Fyfe that's fine.

Ha! Like crackers would have even the slightest idea whether that will happen. Some times, (so-called) legends should just crawl back in their hole and STFU.

This Freo rumour by Crackers is not new. Gerard Healy said on 3aw a few weeks ago that watts management had been approached by Freo and Frawley attracting plenty of interest.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
