Shame about the 3 before it....

So very true.. Lucky win, they need that 4th quarter effort EVERY quarter, not just in patches.

Cracks papered over. Good effort at the end. Still enormous question marks that linger.

A win is a win.

I agree. I think the feeling here is pretty realistic. We are not out of the woods by a long chalk.

Say what you want about the first 3 quarters and the opposition, but given where we are coming from and everything thats surrounding the club, that 12-goal last quarter and win MUST be HUGE for team morale.

Nathan Jones is an absolute friggin superstar and I am proud he wears the red and blue! Obv he had a few friends in that last quarter too!!

Where did this little fella Evans come from, full credit to the team they kicked some tough goals before they got on a roll.

One of DB's rookies. Out with a back problem, and I hope his back problems are gone.

Like everyone I will just enjoy the win and allow myself to do so for the next few days. Two really bad middle quarters, the boys showed some character in the last when we faced a nightmare scenario especially after the week we have had media wise.

Learn from the mistakes and to Dees everywhere whilst you may not be happy with the overall performance just allow yourself to enjoy the win for a couple of hours at least.

According to MMM the club sang the song AGAIN behind closed doors. I bet they were all arm to arm coach, player and board.

Neeldy was not in the circle even though the boys urged him to join

Thats where the players should have just dragged him in... But the club did sing the song again behind closed doors.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
