Melodrama, melodrama.

Players named covered??

I'll say it again. The players were not alleged to have done anything wrong.

I think your safe from being mentioned on TV. And I am sure you have not done anything.

I just have this gut feel that something is not right behind the scenes.

The supposed clashes between Neeld and Todd Viney for example, what were they about?

Really DeeZee? What exactly is making you feel this way hmmmm?

This must be Dr. Who...

No way! If it is any incarnation of the good doctor, it surely must be the sixth one. ;) (Whovians will get that joke).

That Dank is the leaker is beyond dispute, but not the point.

The point is the club's first statement was nothing more or less than weasel words designed to wriggle around the truth.

John Howard could not have drafted anything better.

It is a classic case of a partial truth designed to create an entirely false impression.

OK I want to withdraw this earlier post of mine, but only in the sense that I am accusing the club of weasel words and taking lessons from John Howard.

It may well have been an honest statement given the Friday April 19 revelation about Bates.

John Howard remains the master of weasel words and I should not have doubted the old fella for a minute.

Dank is clearly the leaker because ONLY HE would have access to all his texts: the ones that implicate Essendon and the ones that implicated Melbourne/Bates, and secondly because ONLY HE stands to gain from the content of the Melbourne messages all of which point to a legal supplements program.

ergo, ipso facto and all the rest.

Well....funny feelings and noises in my stomach, but when i go to the toilet nothing comes out.

And oversized shoes!

I was laughing yesterday having read Old's post, because I visualised them running down the race and onto the ground in said clown suits. It's highly appropriate and best sums up this once proud, but now pathetic football club.

Was this a case of Dr. Bates running his own agenda....Knowing that all the supplememnts used were not illegal at that point.

This would not excuse the Board completely, but i still cannot reason why The Board would mislead the AFL.

They knew how serious this investigation was....we all saw and heard the press conferences.

Once the dust settles. it is either Dr. Bates or the Board who must leave.

Somebody lied (again) and this is just about my tipping point as was discussed last year.

7 years of going backwards is not good for anyones health or self esteem.

And now our coach says we are level with GW$...A True Cop Out

3 years ago we were neck & Neck with Tiges & Kangas...

Ever since Jimma was diagnosed with Cancer...This club has just made the wrong decisions. We could have got stronger, but that takes effort

I know jims gone and god bless his soul, but the people he hired are the guys making the wrong decisions, probably wouldv happened regardless.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
