Old timer; that the best you can do? Maybe get your mum to read my posts to you and perhaps she will be able to explain them in a way you'll understand, although I doubt it.

Fanbob ran off in to the night when Schwab was cleared in the tanking issue, what you're doing is trying to rewrite history.

As I said you haven't got a clue and the more shrill you become the more stupid you sound.

RF your team lost, face it, surely your not that senile or stubborn to come to terms with it, you were giving a club massive dollars and they wouldnt even shake your hand, they sucked, what would Eddie do in the same situation, they [censored] screwed you RF,how can you defend that, they disrespected you Robbie, YOUR a great Demon, they sucked.

Mjt, now that yourbmate schwab is gone I can't see what you bring to the table in any discussion. Please don't revert to slagging foundation heros just because Schwab is no longer a issue for you to [censored] about

I go to 10 games a season, reply when you do.

At you posting drunk?

RF backed the wrong horse, he donates massive money to the club, and they dont respect him,. he admitted that, CC never got in contact with him again, its because of people like RF that my son and myself probably still can watch our club, they [censored] suck, i probably shouldnt rub salt into the wound but it pisses me off when he blames past administrations for our current plight.

I'm not at the club every day, are you?

So taking that into account, I trust the MFC to know better than me, or Range Rover, about what happens inside the club.

Yeah I don't attend Cabinet or Caucus meetings either so I just trust the government to know better than me about what's best for me.

Haha Mate I know MFC effects our moods, but they don't have anything to do with our laws, taxes, and living conditions... Bit melodramatic I think.

the real point is we limped in there when we had far more talent than what was shown.

No, the real point is - limping in or not - we made 3 successive finals series and therefore backed it up for 3 years which stopped the yo-yo years. Which makes your statement invalid... "we never backed it up the following year" under Daniher.

Be sure to keep on moving those goal posts to suit yourself, WYL, that's your specialty....

He's talking about the 23 years of wilderness we experienced that ended in 87.

That is what RF is alluding to. We lost a great deal during those years.

It would be akin to us not making the finals until 2029.

Which would be rather bad, yes?

Its amazing that a man like yourself made so much money, your a disgrace, i have never seen a try hard like yourself have 50 each way like you do,.

Are you Peter Slipper, you backed CS and CC all the way through the tanking investigation, then you bag the crap out of them for not taking into account for what you donate to the club, WHY dont you tell people what you want, then you bag administrations from 50 years ago, your a laugh a minute, who do you back RF,your all over the shop. you bag them for not realising your dollars contribution, then your with them, its laughable.

When your wrong old timer you abuse people, YOU were wrong,THEY WERE THE REST OF THE CLUB, admit defeat, you backed the wrong horse, the whole of demonland have read your posts, Baghdad bob proved you wrong, at least have guts to admit it.

Hypocrite

I think Baghdad Bob's concerns about McLardy, Schwab and Neeld have received some added credence over the past few weeks.

You his manager/agent? It's like the days when they send out cannon fodder to soften up the enemy and then the big guns come out later when it's safer; you cannon fodder 55?

Most that defended Schwab were defending the club as well; some clearly weren't and had other agendas.

You're a bit like that idiot mjt that sees this as two different teams and not one united Melbourne? What team are you on 55?

The point is about abrogating responsibility to your perceived superiors instead of using your own analytical and perceptive powers to use logic and reason and think for yourself no matter what the situation. Who cares if you're at the club each day or not, you can still analyse the outcomes and the information that is released publicly. If there is info that the club doesn't release that's fine but they can't expect the members to just take their word for it.

That's my whole point. Publicly. We don't know what's happening inside the club.

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm

    DEFUSE THE BOMBERS by Meggs

Last Saturday’s crushing loss to Fremantle, after being three goals ahead at three quarter time, should be motivation enough to bounce back for this very winnable Round 5 clash at Windy Hill. A first-time venue for the Melbourne AFLW team, this should be a familiar suburban, windy, footy environment for the players.   Essendon were brave and competitive last week against ladder leader Adelaide at Sturt’s home ground. A familiar name, Maddison Gay, was the Bombers best player with

    BLOW THE SIREN by Meggs

Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    GETAWAY by Meggs

Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval. It promises to be keenly contested, though Fremantle is the bookies clear favourite.  If we lose, finals could be remoter than Rottnest Island especially following on from the Dees 50-point dismantlement by North Melbourne last Sunday.  There are 8 remaining matches, over the next 7 weeks.  To Meggs’

    DRUBBING by Meggs

With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    GARNER STRENGTH by Meggs

In keeping with our tough draw theme, Week 3 sees Melbourne take on flag favourites, North Melbourne, at Casey Fields this Sunday at 1:05pm.  The weather forecast looks dry, a coolish 14 degrees and will be characteristically gusty.  Remember when Casey Fields was considered our fortress?  The Demons have lost two of their past three matches at the Field of Dreams, so opposition teams commute down the Princes Highway with more optimism these days.  The Dees held the highe

    ALLY’S FIELDS by Meggs

It was a sunny morning at Casey Fields, as Demon supporters young and old formed a guard of honour for fan favourite and 50-gamer Alyssa Bannan.  Banno’s banner stated the speedster was the ‘fastest 50 games’ by an AFLW player ever.   For Dees supporters, today was not our day and unfortunately not for Banno either. A couple of opportunities emerged for our number 6 but alas there was no sizzle.   Brisbane atoned for last week’s record loss to North Melbourne, comprehensively out

    GOOD MORNING by Meggs

If you are driving or training it to Cranbourne on Saturday, don’t forget to set your alarm clock. The Melbourne Demons play the reigning premiers Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields this Saturday, with the bounce of the ball at 11:05am.  Yes, that’s AM.   The AFLW fixture shows deference to the AFL men’s finals games.  So, for the men it’s good afternoon and good evening and for the women it’s good morning.     The Lions were wounded last week by 44 points, their highest ever los

    HORE ON FIRE by Meggs

The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals. They brought tremendous forward half pressure, and our newly renovated defensive unit looked shaky.
