Sound's like they trained the house down...... :)

I wouldn't say trained the house down FC Melbourne, but they enjoyed the surrounds.

Not related to training but I had a look in the paper and unless I've missed something, I couldn't see Watts' name in the Casey line-up...

Does anyone know anything about that?

I'm hoping it's a misprint.

He is not named for Casey, he is an emergency for AFL side, Casey are playing in Ballarat, so unless Neeld is planning something left field, Watts will sit out this week

Crazy if he just sits out, he needs the practice.

I think he will be a surpise in, for sellar maybe.

If he's not going to play at all, I'd like to see him sitting in the coach's box so he gets a better understanding of what's expected.

I want to congratulate everyone who got down to Gosch's Paddock this morning. Particular thanks to the family who bought the floggers and led the songs and chants. I have been listening to the positive press that has been generated and it has brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. This is a clear example of what 200 dedicated supporters can achieve by remaining positive and finding a voice. Imagine the power of 30,000 if they all turn up at the MCG tomorrow and practice having a united and positive voice... what could our team achieve then?

When you watch the video (which is great!) you can see the players are genuinely shocked at what happened when they turned up this morning.

They are almost a bit like 'is that for us?' If nothing else it was nice to see them as people and see that they realized we cared.

It's also fantastic to see the players sign autographs and talk to the kids. When those kids grow up they'll remember that the way I remember getting autographs from Garry Lyon, Jimmy and the Ox, and they'll realize just how integral supporters are to the culture of a club.

I was really proud to be a Demon watching what happened this morning.

Here's the video from this morning's Training if you haven't seen it

Nice video - your not one bit shy are you!

If we have crowds like this every week they will need to start getting restraining orders.

I wish some of the pies/supporters could have seen that - so much for 70-80,000 members

You can call us a "family" waynewussell but it was The Demon Army that brought the flags, floggers, patties, Big Heads & chants to the ground. We are a family - a devoted red & blue family - and you can find us behind the goals each week. I'm glad we were on the same page as Demonlanders when we hatched this idea before we left the ground last Saturday night. Now we all need to turn up at the G tomorrow. Demon Army will be there!

posdee, great minds think alike! The Demon Army were sensational in being loud and proud. I dips me lid to you all! This is what Unity is all about, bringing the various Demon tribes together to change the way we are popularly represented.

This is the attitude we need. This is what the Melbourne Football Club needs. Stand together. Will we beat West Coast tomorrow? Probably not. Will we play finals this year? I doubt it. Will we stand together and march foward as one? You bloody bet.

MFC forever, stand and be counted and lets move foward.

And when our day comes let us never forget how hard it was. We will drive the boots in. We will be ruthless and we will be proud.

Lets go Dees!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
