Sounds like a sick club to me. Again, honour before honours. No more bugle playing, no more blazers, no more glorious history. If the club doesn't focus on the here and now we will die. Plenty of posters on here have raised the issue of culture, and others have said it's all crap. I am with those worried about culture. I want to know how a board could let junior be treated like that, how could they let cs run off at the mouth on white board Wednesday, how could they let "the way to success is through draft picks" (thus tanking) become part of our culture, how could they so grossly mis-manage the time around 186. How dare the president have a go at the supporters - I was there until the end today, Don - where was the team???

This is really deep and serious, and I am worried for the future of the Club I have followed since I saw them win a flag in 64. Bring back Jim Cardwell.

I can't fathom how Watts can say the preseason has been "A-grade" when we were roundly beaten in most of the games we played. Strange.

And I love the way Watts looks so devestated and hurt after that performance, but mate, if it hurts that bad, and if you need someone to stand up, how hard is it to just [censored] do something, anything. And if you didn't stand up this week, and you haven't done it in the past, chances are you won't next week and the week after. Wattsy sounded pretty honest about halfway through there, talking about the crap we've been through. He's really speechless, and it's not the normal kind of footy cliches you usually hear. Hopefully something does change, because I and a lot of other Demon faithful are THIS close to just moving on with our lives.

We don't get paid to sit through this shite, and the players need to start giving us something pretty goddamn soon.
