Tappy, just interested to know, were you a fan of Andy Lovell when he played at the MFC? If so, I'm spewing Demonland wasn't around back then, so your user name could be "choppersquad". While Andy didn't have massive legs, his hairstyle at times would've suited the cast of the same name.

From Ashley Brown on twitter

Dees have about 35 available for early NAB Cup games and expect most to play.

Dan Nicholson & Tom McDonald still the pre-season standouts.

Sorry, that's all folks.

Ding and I were there today.

He is cropping some pics before we post them on 'Ology

Gawn doing run throughs at a fair pace in the rehab group, that also contained Trenners, Tapscott. Dawes stayed behind with them after the others left to head back to Bubbledome, to put their running shoes on.

We both fell in man-love with Player number 1, wow does he have great size for a 17 year old, and he moves so well. I was surprised by his pace off the mark, and agility

Viney looks like he has been there for years, and was constantly throwing himself under a pack. Smart money for rising star.

Ding made the comment that Dawes looks like an "outsider", but I didnt notice that.

Toumpas doesnt like the sun, and trained in a MFC cap. Was being tagged by Dunn in the match simulation.

The first match sim was just ball movement, spread, and kicking to the spread. No defensive pressure as such. It then progressed to physical pressure, although I would expect to see them go harder come rd1.

The talk/encouragement was fantastic, and at a level that I have never seen at a training session before.

A few of the boys called for Blease, when he headed to the tent after warmup, instead of participating in the rest of training. He was pointing to his lower right leg, and received a number of rubdowns in the tent, but didnt seem too worried about it.

We spent more time looking through the lense, than at the play, and cant tell you much, but if you have a question, shoot.

I didn't go, is this what happened

Boys ran around yelling, kicking, hand balling and tackling Some group stuff and some full ground match simulation

Viney is a gun

Toumpas will be a star

Hogan is huge

Blease better than last year

Couldn't see Neeld, Craig in everything

Still need skill improvement

Energy good

Tapscott in rehab group with Gawn

Let me know if I missed something

Boys ran around yelling, kicking, hand balling and tackling Some group stuff and some full ground match simulation - Yes

Viney is a gun - No, WILL BE A GUN

Toumpas will be a star - was quiet

Hogan is huge - not huge, but very solid build.

Blease better than last year - Didnt do anything after the warmup

Couldn't see Neeld, Craig in everything - Neeld was there from the start

Still need skill improvement - Skills looked great to me today.

Energy good - better than that

Tapscott in rehab group with Gawn - correct

Let me know if I missed something - yes, you missed the fact that you come across as a jerkoff

It's funny when a fool reads every word on every training thread and then ridicules their own behaviour.

He was ridiculing the poster above him.

But why when someone takes the time to post so those of us that cant get can get a feeling what is happening down there. If there is repetition well bad luck. If youthink you know what is going to be posted then don't read. Simple.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
