So Brock didn't play against them in their 11 loss run or if not, see, hear or read anything about them in that period. Therefore unlike any other AFL football follower, let alone player, he would not have known what Carlton was doing during that 3 months.

Even "blind Freddie " knew what they were doing and it was discussed in the media as well. Wasn't their something called the "Kreuzer Cup"?

I said there was an easy answer to question that was easy to deflect. I cant see why any of the 3 journalists would bother asking it.

You don't refrain from asking a question because of what the interviewee might say in response.

You ask the question and let the interviewee answer it themselves.

Its a pretty easy and obvious "get out of jail" that even Brock could navigate.

This sort of press should make the AFL think twice before deciding to clobber the Demons.

Yep, this is a breakthrough, I'd imagine Vlad called a special meeting to work out a strategy to deal with this sort of comment.

In the words of John McEnroe, you can't be serious.

The AFL cannot afford to have this go to court (which it will if they attempt to charge us) as it will open a can of worms that will make our 1,000 page report look like a Myer sale catalogue. Besides, look on the bright side...if you feel disinclined to go to the games for fear of being referred to as a tanker supporter, you can take that time to attend grammar classes. Edited by hardtack

You're confusing monetary reasons for image viability reasons my friend. Shouldn't have to explain that to someone as obviously above the rest of us as you claim to be bright spark.

Take a deep breath BH

Now no one wants to fling you.

I am no genius with Grammar and spelling

Can you just try a little harder

That way I will be able to understand you.

Use Google or Firefox for your browser they both have spell checks.

They make me look half decent.

I always loved watching the Dukes of Hazard. Boss Hog would connive and carry on only to be found out as having ulterior motives and ultimately make an arse of himself.

I agree BH we did

I hated it then and still do to this day

But it was no worse than 5 other teams during that period.

If we are penalised it will be a gross injustice.

Actually...the Kreuzer Cup was Brocky's top possession game for the year. You'd think he'd have noticed something.

Whoa Guys lets not turn this into a slagging of BH because he has a less than a great understanding of grammar.

He has some legitimate comments

Slagging his grammar does not mean his argument is wrong.

Can we all take a breath.

We all support the same team I think

Go Dees

Fair enough OD, but he might have done better if he hadn't come out swinging at anything that moved (metaphorically).

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
