You work for the left wing ABC ?

No, I won't have it.

Your best mate is often seen on there on Sunday mornings "Insiders"

A very balanced Program.

I strongly believe that, beginning with 2013 and while Neeld is coach of the MFC, we will never endure another losing season...his mantra "hardest team to play against" will ring in the players and supporters ears for a decade or more.

You're not listening. Bailey's game was all run and carry. It got him the sack.

Neeld is trying re-balance the ledger. It takes time. You'll see far more spread this year.

Pretty sure WYL is listening chief. Bailey's game was run and carry, most of the time backwards, sideways or the wrong way.

I think WYL was saying that considering the MCG is our home ground, how is it our players haven't figured out how to use its open spaces to their advantage. But firstly they need to be fit enough...that's the starting point.

Save your breath Neeter. Stuie doesn't get it !

I thought you guys liked this thread? Why are you talking so much about me and so little about the topic, or mudbaths, or lesbians, or all the other BS you post here that's not footy related.

Actually being factual. Have a look through Biffen and BBO's posts those are the most common themes.

He was a token conservative, but didn't appear this year due to his new show on a rival network.

Seeing as you're interested in my humour... It's hilarious that you call "insiders" balanced.

Are we talking Bolt or Akerman? After reading Kinky Friedman novels, I seriously wonder about Akerman's conservatism.

Dean Bailey's forward spread and running patterns were outstanding - when they were on! It was the almost total absence of defensive structures around the ground that stuffed us around. Even really good defensive footballers like Chip found it tough to be defensive with no structure for support.

2013 will be a pleasure/pain year for mine.

PLEASURE

I don't reckon we will get beaten once by 10 goals. We will slowly become that team who is hard to beat. Most of our losses will be within 20 points.

We will surprise lazy teams like Bombers, Tigers, St. Kilda and probably beat them

Our skill level will finally rise. Blease, Toumpas, Watts, Clark, - these players are skillful and will be delivering into our forward 50.

We get to see a spine of Frawley, McDonald, Jones, Dawes, Clark and a midfield including Trengove, McKenzie, Sylvia, Grimes, Viney, Toumpas etc...

Our body size means we match it at the contest with Pies, Eagles, Hawks, Swans.

PAIN

Through inexperience and some brain-fades we will lose to teams we should beat - Brisbane, North Melbourne etc...

Our skill level will hurt us when we think we are past the worst

Our interstate record is appalling and I can't see this changing too much yet. GWS and Suns aside.

10 wins maximum for me this year.

having Bolt and Ackerman on gave you a very loud voice.

Insiders is a very balanced show. Barry is a great man who wouldn't have it any other way.

No, it's not balanced. And Cassidy was Hawke's Press Secretary when he was Prime Minister. He's not as bad as some, but often his bias shows. I won't take your word on Barry's greatness. I wouldn't take your word on anything.

Fine. I am really not concerned.

We all know your views.

Yes, they're conservative.

And we know yours too. A lefty who worked/works for the ABC that thinks Insiders is "balanced" and that Hawke's former Press Secretary is a "great man". And one who knows all about "climate change", because he "follows weather patterns closely".

You're a laugh a minute.

Not true i assure you.

But dream on.

Thanks, anything for the ABC boys. Not many laughs there.

Tell me WYL, how many of your posts have been made while you've been at work?

?... that question could apply to 99.999% of those who post on here... not just ABC employees.

I have never understood the animosity directed at the ABC myself... especially when you consider the ownership of commercial networks/press and their often unabashed political leanings. And before anyone jumps on the taxpayer funded bus, we all pay for the other networks in one way or another.

Just as many as yours sunshine..

Just imagine what Australian Media would be like WITHOUT the ABC for a moment.....

Rupert would have a field day...The ABC is far more balanced than that [censored].

Spot on HT.

They all watch it and are secretly glad old Aunty exists.

The adjective "Balanced' is being used as an affirmation of being a "Gemini" and also as a description of Andrew Bolt.

It would give me something to think about if I wasnt working.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
