If there's been two more self-indulgent and boring posters to have emerged at Demonland I'd like to know who they are.

There are hundreds more.

You are the King.

Bay 7,11 or Bay 13.

Monday or Friday.

When it comes to boring...ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

No. This is a footy board, not a chat room for you two. Take it elsewhere, we're all sick of it. Start up your own thread if you like, just stop ruining other threads that are meant to be about news and views relating to MFC.

take it easy stuie, theres no MFC news, its the off seasson.

I've actually got a few smiles & laughs from these boys. Its good to see some levity.

Happy new year stue, & Bbo & Biff, & others with a sense of humour.

IMO the decision the players made was just plain dumb

As long as they learn from it

Which decision?

They were Not in Bay 13, as told by our eye witness!

The beer train, not theyre's, so please, is there a Law against innocent fun?

Did they look 'blind drunk',,, no!

Were they asked to leave, "yes", & did they? Yes.....

move on,,,, they didn't do anything wrong except respond to baiting....

I've never pretended to be, or tried to be 'likeable'. It looks like I've succeeded. But I also try not to bore the crap out of others and spend copious amounts of time wasting theirs. Unfortunately, that's your one and only gift to this site. Along with your mate. Happy to leave it there.

Can anyone confirm that the players were not in bays 11-14 ? I see it as somewhat significant.

You failed Ben.

Nothing in it, just spoketo some one who was with them, one of James Frawleys mates from Ballarat.

They left as a precautionary measure because of a few baiters around them.

Howe did nothing wrong as he was only responding to a baiter.

Security just got him out of there in case.

Storm in a plastic cup.

Well, still "developing". Hope Neeld holds his line here. Schoolteacher and all...

My post was tongue in cheek really but its fair to say you can't turn on elite behaviours 'at work' and behave like a drongo the minute the school bell has rung and you are home.

Elite behaviours include decision making and while I think this episode has been blown out of all proportion by the media that are desperate to have any footy 'story' in the paper there is no doubt the decision making by our boys (and ex-boys) were terrible. And given the history of non-performance, pi$$ poor training loads and quality we, as passionate observers, were hanging on to the fact that finally our players might have worked out that to be successful we have to work harder and smarter than everyone else.

While guys like Trengove, Chunk, Grimes, CLark and a few others demonstrate that desire, our little illusion that others under Neeld have bought in might just be a little damaged after this episode. Particularly with Frawley for mine.

I criticised Judd heavily for not being a leader when he was handcuffed to a teenage spewing machine (Levi Cassaboult) at an end of year 'celebration'. That's not what a real leader does. Neeld will IMO look very unfavourably on the players that were at the MCG given the publicity it has generated.

Reality Bus, Beer Train- all we need is a Chocolate River and a weirdo in a top hat to complete the scenario am I right?

Biffen & BBO should take over from Bill & Tony

I have enjoyed the laughs whilst pouring another G & T.

It's that week in between madness people.

Chill out.

How sad.

Yep, pity they can't have a day at the cricket and a few beers with their mates without some hero's thinking they are fair game. Also a pity that many here had them hung, drawn and quartered without knowing the facts.

Way over the top here mate, this has nothing to do with elite performance and it looks nothing like the Judd biz.no one was force fed beer or drunk from what I can see, no one seems to be throwing up... and what is it with the posters who seem to know what Neeld thinks or looks unfavourably or favourably on.

From what I've seen of the training and work these guys have been putting in I would hope it is moving to the elite catagory that the FD and players want, from my outside looking in view it appears to be.

I just don't see where going for a day at the cricket has anything to to do with it.

I also believe you're a buffoon. Especially when it comes to football and politics.

And the other two drongos keep you amused ? Now that's "sad".

You're strongly exaggerating. It was Boxing Day. One day at the cricket. It's not a pattern of behaviour.

It now looks like they weren't in Bay 13, or even bays 11-14. And they left without fuss.

So many supporters have lost all sense of perspective and reality over a triviality.

Now thats says almost all of it. You can't even talk in aussie language. You look down on everything with disdain.

You are indeed a sad case.

I rarely see any haters of Bolt successfully refute any of his arguments. They just don't like his opinion. We share the same conservative beliefs on nearly everything. Funnily enough, just about every footballing moron on here is from the left, or supports the Greens.

And yes, you're a buffoon.

Seriously guys - chill out. Diversity of views is important to this site, and we're all supporting the same team - so let's regain some perspective here.

Back to the topic - I read a story years ago that Ryan Giggs and Lee Sharpe, as very young Manchester United players, were partying too much and Alex Ferguson was not happy.

There was a house party in Manchester just before Christmas - cold, wet night. Ferguson heard that Sharpe and Giggs were at the party. Ferguson didn't know anyone else at the party. At about midnight, Ferguson turns up to the house in a heavy overcoat, walks into the party with absolute contempt and grabs Sharpe and Giggs by the collar and marches them out.

He later traded Sharpe, and Giggs turned his partying ways around. The rest is history.

I think this episode seems harmless enough - but I strongly suspect Mark Neeld will not look too favourably on it. He's trying to build an elite, disciplined culture - and the outward perception of this is important to what he's seeking to achieve at the club. Getting ejected at the G for necking too many beers and abusing other supporters at the Boxing Day Test is not really in keeping with this.

climate Change.

Have you seen how much ice now covers the Northern Ice Cap?

Atlantic City says hello.

I will refute anything Bolt says. He is paid to stir the pot. If you believe otherwise then you are a lot closer to our early primates than i.

The absolute Bottom Line here Mr. Hur is that YOU have absolutely NO Sense of Humour.

And that is sad. I pity you.

Wrong forum. There's a thread on climate change in the general forum. And no, I'm yet to see anyone successfully refute his beliefs on climate change. The climate does change. And always will. But the world hasn't warmed in 16 years and many scientists doubt the computer models, which to date, haven't supported the alarmist views of some. It's not surprising that you're one of the turkey's to get sucked in. There's so much money given to scientists from Governments to make climate change seem far worse than it is that it's not surprising that many do. Thankfully, other scientists are now questioning the scaremongering that reels in the gullible. But as I said, go to the other forum.

And yes, I have a sense of humour. But I like subtle and clever humour - dry humour. But it's a type with which you'd be unfamiliar.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
