Discussion on recent allegations about the use of illicit drugs in football is forbidden
  • IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

Posting unsubstantiated rumours on this website is strictly forbidden.

Demonland has made the difficult decision to not permit this platform to be used to discuss & debate the off-field issues relating to the Melbourne Football Club including matters currently being litigated between the Club & former Board members, board elections, the issue of illicit drugs in footy, the culture at the club & the personal issues & allegations against some of our players & officials ...

We do not take these issues & this decision lightly & of course we believe that these serious matters affecting the club we love & are so passionate about are worthy of discussion & debate & I wish we could provide a place where these matters can be discussed in a civil & respectful manner.

However these discussions unfortunately invariably devolve into areas that may be defamatory, libelous, spread unsubstantiated rumours & can effect the mental health of those involved. Even discussion & debate of known facts or media reports can lead to finger pointing, blame & personal attacks.

The repercussion is that these discussions can open this website, it’s owners & it’s users to legal action & may result in this website being forced to shutdown.

Our moderating team are all volunteers & cannot moderate the forum 24/7 & as a consequence problematic content that contravenes our rules & standards may go unnoticed for some time before it can be removed.

We reserve the right to delete posts that offend against our above policy & indeed, to ban posters who are repeat offenders or who breach our code of conduct.

WE HAVE BUILT A FANTASTIC ONLINE COMMUNITY AT DEMONLAND OVER THE PAST 23 YEARS & WE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO BE ABLE TO DISCUSS THE CLUB WE LOVE & ARE SO PASSIONATE ABOUT.

Thank you for your continued support & understanding. Go Dees.

I hope the guys that saw fit to bash Jones' dad in front of his brother (a 14 year old) get their right whack in the County Court.

Fine examples of filth supporters they are......

Could somebody please post the link from The Age. I'm completely detached from posting attachments.

Hopefully they get a year behind bars, they wont though, they wont even get a slap on the wrist.

I'd love to go hunt these blokes down and break their ribs - but then I guess that makes me no better than them.

The sad thing is, these blokes will repeat their behaviour until they seriously harm or kill someone before they get in any sort of trouble.

Too little too late usually.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree does it? Dad shoots a defenceless woman in the face, son gangs up with half brothers to beat up a man who is just trying to assist someone else. Good quality genes in that family!

I hope the judge and jury see this for what it is and these morons get taught a lesson. How frightening for Nathan's brother to have witnessed his Dad getting beaten up by these scum.

My son and I have been heckled by young girls - Collingwood supporters on our way to the G and on the train. Their lack of class and foul language has no boundaries. I go to the footy most weeks and have done for years, but the only time I fear for my safety is the Collingwood vs Melbourne games. I have never had a problem with any other supporters.

The most gutless and horrible act you would ever see, that was. No doubt it's in their genes. Don't you wish these blokes would just do the human race a favour? Unfortunately they continue to breed!

Who's Jesse Mallinder's dad? He's someone nasty, is he not?

Google him. Shot a woman in the face through a glass door. He is now out of jail, she has a life sentence, having survived injuries which should have killed her. Her 'offence' which led to him shooting her was telling her flatmate to dump him because he was a nasty piece of work. So she got shot for telling the truth. Interesting that at the same time he was seeing the flatmate, he had already gotten Jesse's mother pregnant, eh? Just a nice bunch of people all round, and no surprise Jesse turned out the way he did after all. Jesse's mother obviously didn't bother to wait for the father of her child to get out of jail, and instead took up with some other drongo. Ergo the two co-offenders who helped Jesse attack an innocent person. One of them (I believe) plead guilty, obviously realising he had done the wrong thing and couldn't excuse it. Yet his brothers keep trying to blame the victim. Hopefully it backfires and they get a harsher sentence for wasting everyone's time. Unfortunately I don't hold out a lot of hope for that - we are in Victoria after all.

Just read the associated story. Defence lawyer Murley says Nath's dad should have "kept his mouth shut" and was the "author of his own misfortune" however on Mallinder he says he was a bit "exultant" and threw a "ripper" punch! WTF, can one of our legal eagles explain this [censored] weak interpretation of events?

It's called the legal system, it's based on argument, therefore it's about who tells the best /strongest story and not about the truth.

Defence lawyers aren't the ones under oath and therefore misrepresent the truth all the time.

    DISCO INFERNO by Whispering Jack

Two weeks ago, when the curtain came down on Melbourne’s game against the Brisbane Lions, the team trudged off the MCG looking tired and despondent at the end of a tough run of games played in quick succession. In the days that followed, the fans wanted answers about their team’s lamentable performance that night and foremost among their concerns was whether the loss was a one off result of fatigue or was it due to other factor(s) of far greater consequence.  As it turns out, the answer to

TIGERS PUNT CASEY by KC from Casey

The afternoon atmosphere at the Swinburne Centre was somewhat surreal as the game between Richmond VFL and the Casey Demons unfolded on what was really a normal work day for most Melburnians. The Yarra Park precinct marched to the rhythm of city life, the trains rolled by, pedestrians walked by with their dogs and the traffic on Punt Road and Brunton Avenue swirled past while inside the arena, a football battle ensued. And what a battle it was? The Tigers came in with a record of two wins f

    GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond

It's Game Day and the Demons once again open the round of football with their annual clash against Richmond on ANZAC Eve. The Tigers, coached by former Dees champion and Premiership assistant coach Adem Yze have a plethora of stars missing due to injury but beware the wounded Tiger. The Dees will have to be switched on tonight. A win will keep them in the hunt for the Top 4 whilst a loss could see them fall out of the 8 for the first time since 2020.

    OOZEE by The Oracle

There’s a touch of irony in the fact that Adem Yze played his first game for Melbourne in Round 13, 1995 against the club he now coaches. For that game, he wore the number 44 guernsey and got six touches in a game the team won by 11 points.  The man whose first name was often misspelled, soon changed to the number 13 and it turned out lucky for him. He became a highly revered Demon with a record of 271 games during which his presence was acknowledged by the fans with the chant of “Oozee” wh
