Beginning with the mandatory 4 goal umpiring/crowd advantage when playing in Perth/Adelaide, then add the fact that WCE are 3 times better than the Lions, add another 21 goals, then a lazy 6 goals because of all the extraneous [censored] that has gone on around the club this week, makes the grand total 31 goal victory to the Eagles.........oh dear.

Dont want to sound pessimistic guys but can someone tell please, what is the deal with 1st round picks this year? Does GWS get 1st picks again or is it back to normal. perhaps we are in for a good half of the top 10 picks this october?

Watts 30 possession game was useless because he is a twig and got it all as easy ball as an outside mid and the recruiters shouldn't have picked him.

Down by 10 goals at quarter time, then losing by "only" about 100. With all the crap that has gone on this week, the club will barely have even remembered that there's a game on this weekend and we'll start the match completely asleep.

Absolutely no excuse for this. With what has happened this week, it should not effect the players one bit. Jim Stynes was different that ripped hearts out and I allowed for that last week.

This is their job, to ignore what goes on in the media and come the weekend do what they get paid to do. I certainly hope Neeld hasn't changed his training this week because of it and I am 99% sure the players wouldn't have trained differently. If we get beaten by a better team well fantastic but no more [censored] excuses because of a tough week. Just get it done Melbourne and cut the crap.

I feel we will lose and to be honest I don't care, they are a much better side then us and combine that with playing in W.A and we dont really stand much chance.

But it's the WAY WE LOSE that interests me the most...

I'm starting to think that all the senior players earmarked for the chop might play this week including Davey. These senior players have reached the point of no return and no rock is big enough for them to hide under anymore. Some sort of arrangement has happened with the Davey issue and now Neeld is not interested or cares who made the allegations as he was on Monday. One last chance to see if the penny has dropped at what is arguably the house of pain for us. If there still is resistance to Neeld's ways this game will show once and for all who will sink or swim. If they rise to the challenge we might be a slim chance.

I agree, It looks to me like the coach dealt with Aaron weeks ago, & they've reached an understanding. So now its time for Aaron to continue to find his feet after a hard week, & a 5 tackle game last week.

Deeluded- you really have sense of optimism or stupidity in your believe we could only go down by 6 goals.I genuinely hope your right but very very doubtful.I will be very happy if this eventuates.Good on ya for your positive slant on things.

I have faith in our players ability, but understand the difficulty in getting things to Mesh together like a well engineered gear box, smooth & strong. This is the tough part. The individual parts are quality, & some are tough hardened but not as polished, but they can form a Complete package if they stay focused to the task & play for one another in a disciplined way.

I think they have sufficient pain to galvanize them into a machine.

I think they have the desire to want to achieve, & should be less emotionally spent this week.

I hope we come back with some legs after though.
