Well, we can't do the latter until the former happens and it won't happen for 7 weeks so it probably isn't fair.

Also nice to see those jumpers looking nice and purple/pink/fuscia again for the team photo. CS must have been too busy in China getting the huge sponsorship deal doen to worry about fixing the seizen jumpers! again, well done!

FACTS: We have no major sponsor and the pre-season is 2 weeks away. We were in a similiar position the last time we were sponsorless

We are the worst represtened club in terms of merchandise in AFL stores state wide

Our branding has not grown at all in 10 years.

We are near last in terms of social media 'Likes' and 'Followings'

We were the laughing stock of the AFL last year when we played in 'Pink' jumpers all season after Mr Schwabby wanted to return to the 'deep' red of the 60's.

We have an apparel sponsor that sucks.

We have no innovative of forward thinking merchandise.

The new 'emblem' looks great when produced in large print, but is totally undesirable for thumbnaail reproduction.

- You may all see these as little things, but to me it stinks of laziness and 2nd rate attitudes by those that are responsible for selling the club. Call it an agenda if you like, i don't care much.

EDIT: Spelling

Can someone please give me a scalpel so I can slash my wrists over the The look of the new 'emblem' as it is totally undesirable for thumbnaail reproduction.......

My God - this is awful, I don't know how I can continue living knowing our emblem is no good for thumbnaail reporoduction... Seriously StillWoewodin22, get a life. If such minor things like thumbnaails annoy you then I could only imagine what the general feeling is in your household: 100% stress, 100% of the time... Take a couple hundred valiums and calm the hell down......

I doubt it but it is not impossible.

3 of the 4 beat us comfortably last year!

It is not an easy road being a Dees supporter but when you loose your sense of reason it is time to change.

If it gives people as much pain on Feb. 8th as some on here are displaying today then get a new past time as it is not worth it.

Having said that a zero 4 start will have me a little [censored].

CS was responible for the debt demolition, Jimmy the front man. He does a great job, if you can do better . Apply for the job.

How 'bout you save the chicken little act till the season then.

The MFC marketing department is a sham. I have had several discussions via email with them, and there knowledge and understanding of the market they operate in is well below par.

Care to elaborate on this? As for Petterd's sister are you sure it's not McKenzie's sister?

Me too Old Dee but it will not be the end of the world. What I was trying to say is that I expect the game plan will take a few rounds to be understood and complied with. I expect us to be alot better over the whole year. People on this site expect us to be world beaters from round 1

I hate it when you get to the latter half of a pringles tin, and you have to basically turn it upside-down to get the next one out.......problem is.....all the crumbs then come with it!

What we have is a new FD with the much the same Cattle.

Hopefully this will improve us quite a bit but I will be surprised if we do perform a lot better than in 2011.

No more 186 games and a reduction in last quarter beltings would be good.

A 9th or 10th finish is what i am expecting.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
