Hey all, as you know we do seem to have a real powerful forward line this year.

I wanted to know who you guys think would be Melbourne's highest goal kicker for 2012. I am going to take a punt and go with Howe at this point.

What do you guys think?

Jurrah, finds a way to kick goals even when he isnt playing at his best or seemingly cant get into the game

Posted

I will go with B.Green 50.

hasnt stopped him from kicking goals for us since his first game?

i think it probably has stopped him from kicking alot of potential goals that he could have gotten if he wasnt injured

wonder how neeld will play it, maybe he ll go for a pagans paddock setup, bomb it to clark and then have watts jurrah davey blease green howe all running through to collect and goal

one of the scariest forward lines in the afl for oppositions i would say

Could be if they all learn to play the disciplined structure and not all run into the midfield! That shite almost killed me over the last few years...

Jurrah 55, followed by Clark with 43.

Starting with a cool 9 against the Brisvegas Bears...

Yeah I'm tipping a few huge bags against the likes of Brissy, GC and GWS! Oh how id love to see 10 big ones against little Tommy boy's mob!

I prefer to aim higher. The filth Carlscum whorethorn and Essendung for my choices. GW$ are a mere fart in the wind, mild aggravation.

Not sure how you come up with this theory "olisik"

It has only effectively changed by one player.

The rest have been around the last couple of years with the obvious results.

I hope a couple of players develop as 2012 unfolds but

How does that make it "one of the Scariest forward line"

Jurrah - 48 Goals

Howe, Green, Clark - 35 goals each would be nice.

The good sides spread the goals around

It read well until you squashed it O.D.!! The atmosphere is now defunct.

one player who was picked up to bring structure to the whole forward line and be the focal point.

the speed and height that will be inside the forward 50 is gonna b huge

Talk is cheap in January wyl.

This time last year we thought we were world beaters heading for the finals.

We all know what happened.

I expect improvment but i bristle at "One of the scariest "

Not a ball has been kicked in angry in 2012

Lets see what happens.

Improvement I hope

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
