A few goal assists, but not overly dangerous - looks to me like he's really bulked up and lost a yard or two. Macdonald had him well covered, as did Rivers when he played on him.

He was 'serviceable'

Set up four goals direclty for them . Was their only mobile target around forward 50 .Hes got 3 years left .

Exactly where ge should have played for us, instead of deep, where he was hopeless

pretty sure he tackled a richmond player at one stage, let go of it straight away but i got a good laugh off it

Most of the jeering was from Richmond supporters. They do not like him. They whinge about the same stuff we did (doesn't get involved, too slow, can't kick etc.).

I like the man, but he still can't play football.

Didn't hear anyone boo him, but any Melbourne supporters who did should be ashamed of themselves.

Miller gave his absolute best to our club for many years, was a leader and highly respected and loved by everyone. He was sad to leave the club, and I'm thrilled for him that he has found another opportunity elsewhere.

Where these moronic 'hard feelings' come from, I have no idea. He is not a great player, but he is a star human being and deserves a minimal level of decency and respect.

Saddens me to see Brad out there in a Richmond jumper. From all I heard he is a Top Bloke. However, I understand the reasons from both sides.

Anyway come "home" soon Brad ... I know your mum might not be too happy about that ... but such is life. However, you will always be welcome at the "MFC family" club. At least... what we say is what we do ... unlike some clubs. That say one thing and do another ... never forget they would eat their own if they had the chance. (Tambo says Hi)

Go Dees

PS Dont forget to memorise "Dimmas" game plan.

List clogger.

I definitely think he had no future with us, but as a stop gap player whilst we were busy drafting better forwards I think he played best leading up from half forward. Especially since this saved all us fans the agony of watching him butchering almost every set shot.

Well I stood on the ground level at the Richmond end with all the feral Richmond supporters and the only people yelling abuse at Miller were the Richmond fans. They hate him. It was pathetic to listen to.... But then again, thats what Richmond supporters are like.

Much more concerned about the booing for Scully. I was in the MCC and one person behind me kept booing Scully every time he got a kick. Simply this is disgraceful behaviour; it is also incredibly dumb and embarrassing.

I hope the MCC tapped him on the shoulder. I periodically get tapped on the shoulder for barracking too hard, that being the yard stick this guy should have been kicked out.

He mostly played up the ground for us...

I musn't have seen it then

Actually 2009 or 08 or whenever his decent year was he did play up half forward more, but I never saw anything like that again as I always saw him playing deep and just playing rubbish.

He played the majority of his footy as a lead-up option.

I'm sure many Demons fans will regale you with tales of Miller pushing up the wing, taking a mark and handballing to a bloke a metre away from him.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
