...anyone see the umpire run into him?

Someone please tell me it's only a fine...

Nervous about the imminent thinning of his wallet, but that's it. He'll play QB- there are numerous precedents from recent weeks of playing only getting fines.

Yeah saw it... Knowing his luck with the MRP, he'll get couple of weeks...

Haha. Someone nearby me in the Members yelled at one stage, "Oh no, Trengove sneezed,..... dammit ! that'll be 3 weeks !"

The MRP panel owe him games after their last decision .

He should be at least 2 in credit .

Said the same thing myself after he took his big hanger early in the game. "Cant embarrass blokes like that Trenners, 3 weeks mate". Got a laugh from a bloke in front.

I was more worried when he gave away a free kick for something similar to what Dunn did - went in to tackle a bloke on the ground and got him in the head.

I have serious issues with JT.If he keeps playing to this wonderful standard,I may have to keep myself locked up inside.Having a chubby for 2 and half hours is embarrassing.

Thats the only thing that makes me nervous.

Didnt see, but im assuming : it was intentional, high contact and reckless that seems standard

Is that Jacks problem...

Jack should get a freebie after the disgusting penalty for playing inside the rules of the game.

The maggot running into him should be dropped.Frankston nth v doveton would be a game to learn avoidance.

Surely the MFC is due a small break.$900.00 fine is the standard.I'm sure they can amplify their offence to suit the MFC

Why wouldn't he be reported on the spot if this was deemed an offence? Didn't see it myself.

Not all reports are done on the spot. Judging by what other posters have said, it'll be a fine and that's good news.

Daisy Thomas could be in a bit of trouble. Smacked his opponent in the face.

Of course wearing a Collingwood jumper means his opponent will get suspend on grounds of having a face

Who was the Nth Melb goose that smacked Newton in the face? Got off scott free so don't expect Daisy to get weeks.

If Thomas doesn't get weeks, it's a travesty.

Anyone fancy passing the hat around for poor JT?

After losing three weeks match wages for a tackle, the AFL will be asking him to open up his wallet again.

Hope he has a good financial advisor.

There have been numerous precedents of great tackles not getting 3 week suspensions throughout the year. Look where that got us!

Of course wearing a Collingwood jumper means his opponent will get suspended on grounds of ...

... head-butting his fist, perhaps repeatedly.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
