GOLD

What makes it even more golden is that the game on Wednesday night is the last game of the Carnival so what is the suspended one match sentence about? Will he be forced to miss a game for the Oakleigh Charges or Carey Grammar school if he offends again? Miss a game in next year's carnival?

I only wish the AFL Tribunal or Appeals Board had as good a sense of humour as the blokes on the Under 18 tribunal.

That's what I call "GOLD"!

He's been named as an emergencey :(

so he is not actually playing? that sucks...i was going to pop into the game after work, just to see how Jack goes. i am not going to bother now...

Surely that can't be right? He's been one of Vic's best players I'm led to believe.

Booooo-urns.

The other weird thing is that on the afl site it says there is no change yet he is an emergency. But I thought he played in the last game so how can there be no change?

I don't get it.

Was he emergency for the last match?

He played last game and was named in one of the best. Team is all over the shop-they have even Patton whom has starred at Full forward named at CHB.

I believe he will play and star - I'll be there.

Maybe they put the teams together before they knew if he was gonna get off his rough conduct charge?

He should play. Surely.

Shame.

I planned to attend, but didn't because I wasn't interested if Viney wasn't playing and didn't want to roll the dice.

Terry Wallace commentating just said he saw Viney play an APS game a few weeks back where he kicked 4 goals in the 1st quarter, and they were all good tough goals.

On Fox sports 1 now or live at Eti Had. The best u18s of Victoria are hitting it off.

Our boy Jack Viney is playing, limited game time but doing well and is built like a brick but lacks height. No 7.

and i fancy no 5, Liam Sumner, great pace and would fit in nicely at melbourne!

At ground now. On way home. Can see jack out there. Geez it is free flowing and attacking. V different to afl zones etc.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
