Im from Country Victoria and promised my kids a trip to the footy this Thursday. I love to sit on the wing and watch the game unfold so dont like sitting on the groung floor and I think the top floor might be to high for the kids. Im thinking about reserve seating on the 2nd level. I am aware it costs more. Does this area fill up or will i be alone. I love to get amongst the supporters. Any thoughts on where to sit and get a great view would be more than welcome for a die hard wanting to watch whilst not disapointing his 5 and 7 yr old little demons.

If you can get up near the front of the 3rd Tier at Etihad it is lower and closer to the action than the respective seats at the MCG and its not too bad.

As for whether it will fill up; given it is a nab cup game and a Thursday night i think we'd be lucky to get much more then 25,000 people there, so i think the atmosphere is unfortunately going to be a little scarce where ever you decide to sit.

Do we just Rock up & pay at the Gate?

MCC member here, don't get to that "other" ground very often, but i want to check out our kids this year-they deserve a crowd at every game. B)

Previously for NAB Cup games at Etihad, they have opened up the second level of the stadium as general admission - so if you get there relatively early, you may be able to snare a very good seat.

Parma, If you jump on ebay you can but Medallion club seats for almost the same price as standard entry, I do every time we play at this [censored] ground.

Excluding AFL Members, afaik virtually every other membership (excluding Etihad Stadium m/ships) have no entry entitlements to this game.

You just turn up and pay (unless you want to pre-book for some crazy reason ).

Level 2 will be reserved seating, general admission will provide access to “walk up” seating on Level 1 and Level 3.
