It would be hard to beat Carn dees correct prediction from the last round that Jordie McKenzie would effect 12 tackles on the Swans.

My prediction for this week is Jack Watts to boot five goals.

Since I get it completely wrong every week...

Melbourne to lose by 16 goals

Sylvia to get a 12 week suspension for punching Brown in the nuts

Jack Watts to announce pre-game that he is moving to the GC

If the complete opposite happens (i.e.- we win by 16 goals, Sylvia kicks 12 goals and Watts announces he signed for 10 years) do I still win? :P

I don't think Slyvia kicking 12 goals is the opposite of being suspended for 12 weeks...you need to come up with something better than that. Slyvia being awarded 12 fifty meter penalties perhaps? :)

James Frawley - 24 touches

Warnock to come in & reckon Dees can win this one. Brad Green - 6 goals, Dees by 28 pts.

papers to rave about melbournes crisp ball movement and our chances of making the 8 as we overcome brisbane.

maric to kick 3, and have 22 touches

Why Yes, we all do.

Dammit. That was where I was going. He's gone 5 twice in recent weeks. Sooner or later he'll break his record and nail the 6th.

Michael Voss too feel the pressure as the Dees route the Lions by 10 goals! and 2nd week in a row we kick 20+ goals.

Paddle pop lions to have no answers for our pace and ball movement, dees by 7 goals

- Maric to kick opening goal of the game

- Liam Jurrah to sit on Brennans head

- Jack Watts to play better at the Gabba this year as apposed to last time around

- Myself to be jumping around my loungeroom at about 10.30pm Saturday night.

Melbourne to scrape into the eight thanks to the drawn game. Roll Fremantle in a thriller at Subiaco, then take revenge on the Dogs before facing St. Kilda in the Preliminary. Watts kicks his 5th to put us up by 3 points with 90 seconds left on the clock. Ball ends up in their attacking 50 in the hands of Bartram, that's all I can see.

If we make the finals I would want us to beat the Hawks in a final after getting a dodgy free kick on the siren.

Jurrah to kick 4

Fev to kick 5

Jonathon Brown to have no impact

Dees by 30+

Sydney Dee to roll around in cash after getting $3.65 for the Dees by 25 or more

Brisbane by 19 points. Fev to go nuts.

(I have that horrible feeling about this week. Brisbane on the rebound after two smackings, Melbourne coming off a huge win (mental letdown), poor travel record, Voss playing mind games etc).

I hope i am wrong by 15 goals the other way.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
