Dunn to move up forward, I just have a feeling he will kick a few goals when inside the 50m arc.

Martin to help out Jamar, they both can rotate through the forward line

Bartram to be omitted as much I would like him in the side, Jamar will either burn out or (knock on wood) become injured during a game, We need game time in a second ruck option.

I know most will not agree with my suggestions.

I just feel sorry for the selectors when Morton is fit, Watts has played his 3-4 games for Casey, Jurrah is back in round 15ish, Jetta starts pushing for a spot in the side, Wonna has FULLY recovered from his hamstring, Rivers coming back, Cheney, Strauss Gysberts all pushing for a spot in the 22. Have changed my mind about playing Martin and resting Trengove this week as the forecast is for rain. Given that scenario Dunn can back up Jamar again.

No need for any change especially if Brown is out, don't change a winning team, reward them instead.

Spot on. If the mids can slow the delivery down we have a chance if not we will get blown out of the water. Next week will give us a very real idea of where we are and how the plan is working.

Sure the mid field has to slow the delivery down, but it also must attack. One of the heartening aspects of our play over the last three weeks is the attack coming from relentless running, speed of the ball movement and taking risks. If we think purely defensively against Brisbane we will get killed.

We must thinmk positively and build on our strenghts as well as negate theirs. We beat them when they were last on the "g" against us by uncompromising running and all out attack in spite of J Brown being in sublime form. We can do it again.

Right so we drop a small defender who has played really well and takes the best small forward.

We then take our Captain who was BOG or close to it out of the centre and into the BP.

If you are going to play a 2nd ruckman then you really should drop pinch hitter Dunn. Martin on the bench effectively takes out one of our runners. If you are going to pick Martin then why you would not swap Martin and Jamar at FF.

If the reports are right and Brown and Black miss then the Lions will a have a solitary premiership player in their line-up. Amazing how quickly eras can end.

I don't expect a victory.

Dunn is not for the drop, he played quite well today and is presently the only player anywhere near 'tall' for forward duties of any kind, even if intermittent.

Bennell is not for the drop, he has speed, balance and class and newfound guts. Things look good for us when he gets the ball.

The only change should be to bring in a tall - Spencer or Martin. No need to bring in Rivers, and I'm not sure he's right anyway.

I don't think they'll bring in Watts yet, against such a formidable side.

Newton won't get another go.

So, who to drop for a tall? The only ones I'd consider would be Bartram, who admittedly has been OK, Bruce who seemed to get quite a lot of the ball today and will simply be considered too experienced a defender to drop, and Trengove on the excuse of needing a rest. But I like the idea of the young guys playing and I think Trengove has played well most of the time - he was just about our best in round 1 and up to today was superior to Scully, who played really well today. Who ever said he can't kick?

I wouldn't mind betting they'll go with Jamar alone in the ruck one more time, but I'd rather make room for Martin or Spencer. If Sylvia goes down, which would be a joke, the club won't have to agonise.

Paul Johnson had the best stats of the "talls" who played with Casey on the weekend - he may be the "tall" promoted to assist Jamar with ruck duties.

If he doesn't play that helps. A lot.

I would roll the dice on Jamar. Let him ruck alone. He has been thriving on the responsibility. Its a much tougher ask this week, but he did beat Jolly/Fraser.

If he goes it alone, it means we will have another runner, and our mids are going to be critical this week.
