    Our moderating team are all volunteers & cannot moderate the forum 24/7 & as a consequence problematic content that contravenes our rules & standards may go unnoticed for some time before it can be removed.

I wasn't there but was hoping for a run down

I was there for about half hour. Not a great deal to report. I noticed Grimes on the sidelines doing hand ball drills, obviously pulled up sore from the weekend. Not a great deal happens at the junction oval, they arent out on the ground for long.

One thing I did enjoy seeing was Trengove and Scully putting the boxing gear on and doing this boxing drill where they had to spa with each other. The whistle was blown to stop and Trenners gave Scully a cheap shot to the guts. You probably had to be there but It was a funny moment and great to see them arm in arm laughing about it.

This afternoon when I saw that Grimes wasn't named in the squad I had a sneaking suspicion that he might be injured rather than being rested. Now having heard that he was doing handball drills on the sidelines I am even more suspicious. I hope I'm just being paranoid. Was that a piece of sky falling?

I'm sure he's fine, he wasn't limping or anything noticeable. Looked to be In great spirits laughing etc. If you ask me he's pulled up sore and having a rest for a week.

That's probably what it is but you can't blame a dees supporter for being paranoid and jumping at shadows.

Training today (Friday) was a buzz. Jimmy was out In the middle of the Junction Oval with Bails keeping a close eye on the boys. The talk was loud and the intensity was high. Looking forward to tomorrow. I noticed Jack Watts did the hole session today. Grimes, Rivers, Tapscott, Morton were all watching from the sidelines.

Was Joel MacDonald training? A little confused as to why he's missing 2 matches in a row.

Not a good sign for Rivers. He knows a thing or 2 about the 'sidelines'.
