Game hasn't started and she's already making mistakes. The Geelong VFL side beat Casey - NOT COBURG!!!!!!!

Edit : We have a new play - the "handmarkball"

god i hate her, she is TERRIBLE

calling up channel 10 and complaining if she keeps calling the games...

Posted

No one hates her more than me. The Herald Sun pumps her up at every opportunity aswell, Enough of this equal rights [censored]. BEST PEOPLE FOR THE JOB THATS IT !!!

Posted

I am too scared to even turn the TV on in case I accidentally hear her.

Posted

I hate to say this, but she's actually improved.

She sounds a lot more comfortable, even if she does seem to think her job is to keep talking, regardless of whether there's something worth saying or not.

But the fact is, even IF her voice wasn't completely ratsh!t, she is still 2 plays bhind while she waffles on about inconsequential game facts and clichés.

She misses the mark with her understanding of the game, exemplified by the way she nominated Steve Johnson as having a case to answer at the tribunal for a nothing play which he wasn't reported for.

Anyway, see you guys later - I'm heading out to the garage to have a go at my ears with a belt sander...

The best one was when a Geelong player was almost unconscious on the ground "Oh looks like he copped a high tackle"

I'm all for women in footy but she is awful!

Ohhhhh the favourtism towards Geelong is sickening and I was praying for an Adelaide win solely to [censored] her off.

Surely Channel 10 was soon realise they've made a mistake.

I think I'd actually rather Christy Malthouse > Kelly Underwood.

I think I'd actually rather Christy Malthouse > Kelly Underwood.

No doubt about it, Christy has a much better understanding of the game.....

I HATE Underwood's commentating, for all the reasons already pointed out, none of which are simply gender issues, she's just plain horrible to listen to and actually detracts from an already crappy coverage from 10....

Gee I hope channel nine and foxtel have the footy all to themselves at the next rights negotiation.... A few million dollars be damned, the AFL need to give it to those who will promote the game properly and give it the LIVE coverage with the REAL commentary it deserves!!!

I really hate her voice, did not turn the game on today as soon as I found out dhe was commentating.

At least she can string a sentence together unlike ricky Olenrenshaw, Seriously that guy is woeful!

One of my mates is a Geelong fan and she's been commentating for their games the last three weeks, he's glad they're on Friday night next week just so that he doesn't have to listen to her call.

The first time i heard her i thought i didn't like her because her voice being female was jarring, but i realise now that she is just not a good caller. Hopefully Ten realise that as well.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
