Will be interesting with Green out for a few weeks, as his probably behind McLean. Wonder weather he'll pip Brock.

Brad Green is the man to beat at present with Brock out for the season, but with Green out for a few weeks with a hammy, Cameron Bruce could be the one to sneak up! So I voted other

Green miles ahead in the votes here, but the injury has thrown it wide open. It all depends on how the voting works...

For example, if it's out of ten for each match, and Brad plays 3 great games, scoring 7 in each... And then misses two games, he'll be on 21... Lets say Wheatley plays all five, and plays just ok, gets 5 points in each game... then he's way out ahead of Brad on 25....

I have NO idea the structure of B&F voting, but with Brock's injury he'll probably only just scrape into the top 5, and with Green's hamstring, and the fact it might effect him after he gets back, Maybe some of the lesser lights might pop up?

Bruce, Wheatley, Miller....Bate's had a few really good games, Jones started strongly and doesn't miss games. Garland has been superb in game after game...

It's gonna be interesting...

I reckon Greeny would be safe even if he is out for a couple, by far an away the best this year. Looking for a good showing by Wheats and be interested to see how Brad Miller polls.

I agree with this assessment.......

Green has been far and away our best this year in nearly all facets including leadership and I would think (hope) that he has a bit of a cushion at the moment to the rest of the field. Wheatley and Bruce have also been good, and fairly consistent (ignoring their regular disposal butchery) and will obviously factor heavily. Unfortunately for McLean, he will lose out this season as much to injury as anything else, but even now I don't think he would be in front of Green.

And I think that Miller will poll pretty well, top five IMO, plus I'm just wrapped he is now in peoples thinking :P !!!

Cam is finishing of the year rather well, so i voted other given the injuries to brock and green

wheatley probably, played all year

who has played all games this year?

As of tomorrow's match, just Jones and Brucie. With that said, it seems that Cameron Bruce is a pretty good chance; captain, team leader, hard worker, good player. So I'd go for Bruce to win it.

no way McLean, Green but Wheatley might push him

I voted Other. I think that Cameron Bruce has a lot of respect down at the Dees. On top of that, he plays well enough to poll votes in every game he plays and (other than Nathan Jones) is the only player to have played every game this year.

So if his body holds up, he's my bet to take it out from Green, Wheatley and Brock McLean, who, in my opinion, would have won it, had he not been injured.

Greeny will win it with ease!

Don't know about - with 'EASE'...................he will miss this week against the Kangaroos, and perhaps one more after that. Bruce has been of consistent form of late. He's the danger now. A good game against the Kangaroos will see him right in contention.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
