Franklin is no doubt a good player in the making but he has no right foot and IMO he will never be as good as he could be

He plays CHF which in itself requires all the skills

What amazes me is how many players some people call STARS dont have hand and foot skills on both sides of their bodies by the time they reach the AFL recruitment stage

Its certainly improved over the years but to me Soccer leads the way in this basic skill requirement for those wanting to play at the top level

not that we'd have wanted him ... but I seem to remember that when he was drafted by brisbane & asked about his childhood allegiance. N. Buckley said Melbourne. Of course, Collingwood had that expunged from the record books. all lifelong supporters down there!

It's strange to think that not that long ago he was one of us following the Dees through all their (very few) highs and lows.

I'd love to see a team made up of Melbourne supporting players, it would be interesting to see.
