  1. Is this the same guy who got rubbed out for biting? https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-04-10/essendon-conor-mckenna-suspended-for-biting-tory-dickson/9638358
  2. Switch off after the 7th goal is kicked for the match... that will warm you.
  3. Great win! I've loved both games from Zanker this year. She's got a great future in this comp. Size, pace, good decision making, overhead marking and kicking; what's not to like? (You may recall the set shot goal she made last year as a teenager from 45 out on the boundary late in the 3rd against the Bulldogs.) Also liked the games of Shelley Scott, Kate Hore, Shelley Heath, Maddie Gay, Aleisha Newman, Meg Downie and Libby Birch. It's been a great start for us given the loss of three key players with season ending knee injuries before round 1 (Lauren Pearce, Katherine Smith and Shae Sloane). Add to it that Bianca Jakobsson decided to join the police force just before season start and Lily Mithen is still yet to play. The structures and game plan seem good this year. There's a clear to plan to put our leadership strength to halfback (Paxman, O’Dea and Daisy Pearce). Highlight was Zanker's contested give to Paxman for a right foot snap. Can't wait for Hore to kick straight and Newman to get some still, dry playing conditions. Sad news for Ainslie Kemp for her third long term knee injury.
  4. Does Goodie say, "Brisbane is a quality side" or does he come clean and confess we are a crap side and a crap club?
  5. Surely it must be official now that we are the ‘inside 50 second stoppage specialists’. Ranked as No.1 in the Comp for 2018 and 2019.
  6. One co-captain hardly gets a touch. The other one can't even catch it. Really Simon?
  7. Now that Mark has been released from Essendon, the door is open at Punt Road. Can we crowdfund a package to get him back to the Tiges and help our cause for a flag? Who's in? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XaTew1NlZU
  8. Hmmm. Trafficking these narcotics in some countries carries the death penalty.
  9. Hehe. Love this. No stress. Essendon will pay the fine like last time.

Can we have a vote on a podium finish for our least embarrassing coach of the modern era? The nominees are: Carl Ditterich 1979-1981 Ron Barassi 1981-1986 John Northey 1986-1993 Neil Balme 1993-1998 Neale Danniher 1998-2008 Dean Bailey 2008-2012 Mark Neeld 2012-2014 Paul Roos 2014-2017 Simon Goodwin 2017 ~ -Patsy Biscoe I’m looking for a 3, 2, 1 podium finish for the least embarrassing coach over the last 40 years. To be clear, if you’re number 1 on the dais, you’re the least embarrassing coach. If Simon G doesn’t make the podium then we’re all fine and we can go one another 40 years.
  11. Coaching for the conditions is what this game is all about. I worked the rotations for the Under 13 girls today for a Coach with passion and vision. Our girls knew what they were doing and almost got over the line. They were stoked in the rooms after not getting over the line by a couple of points. How do you reckon Goody's boys felt and how did they they felt for him?
  12. We had a game plan for quarter. Are we happy with a 25% coach? Nup.

Pretty shattered Lynch and Brownie couldn't get Brisbane over the line tonight (or even get Hodgie back one the ground when it mattered).
  14. If you're not interested PF, now would be a good time to stay inside and work on your spelling. It's blancmange, not blamange.
  15. Please be doing your nails or something then. No one cares you don't care.
  16. Great summary DiO. Cunningham won the ball when it mattered. But wow, there's a foot on the end of her left leg she doesn't know is there yet. .
  17. "God I hate Carlton"... hehe... I'm starting to love Carlton; the way we just take the 4 points away from them so neatly... Bruise free footy.
  18. Forget it we hope. But enjoy 4 in a row with the team against the Wobbles we hope he does. It's always a team effort.
  19. Fantastic work Ash. The vid brings back so many memories. The late, great Robbie Flower is poetry in motion.

    Mark Neeld

I wonder if Mark is showing Woosher where the nearest 'Reality Bus' stop is...
  21. Because this is one of the reasons why today felt so good.
