  1. x 2. Auto renew Premium Member for 15 years. If it's more of the same after a month I will cancel my membership. It's a lot of money for no reward. I would still attend games but GA tickets only.
  2. I posted this in another thread about the co-captaincy last night, probably more appropriate here....... I remember Jones being blind-sided, but then ``warmed`` to the idea. From the outside looking in, I don`t think he ever warmed to it and there are lingering side-effects on show to this day. I was told 2 years ago by a former player that Viney was more concerned about his own form than being a leader. Maybe he has grown since then but he hasnt exactly been on the park for much of the past 2 years. In my opinion both of them need to go and Gawn needs to be made sole Captain, appointed by the coach. His speech at the BnF last year was enough to tell me he is a true leader, he talks the talk BUT he walks the walk. I don`t think Jones nor Viney are natural leaders. Steven May has shown more onfield leadership (in the few games he has played) than either of these blokes this year. Clean slate next year or its rinse and repeat, bet your bottom dollar.
  3. I'm very similar in age and mindset right now. I've been a Premium member ever since I returned to Melbourne 14 years ago. Out of all the countless disappointments we've had in half a century I think last night was the tipping point for me. Not even in the Neeld era did I consider stopping my membership. $650 a year gets me a pretty decent guitar.

  5. There are many things high on the agenda but I agree 100% Neither of these 2 have shown any leadership qualities in this insipid year. We are doomed if either one of them are even VC. Gawn Captain with a new VC and scrap the leadership group.....who is even in it this year, I would not have a clue.
  6. I feel we are witnessing a coach who rode on the coattails of all of Roos` good work last year, when we played above ourselves for 5 or 6 weeks before we ran out of steam. Looks lost in the coaches box OR he has lost the players.
  7. I haven`t heard anything at all but what I saw from some of the players tonight and the continued lost in space look in Goodwin`s face has me in no doubt we have a problem behind the scenes. Some of the most selfish play and horrible body language I`ve seen in an AFL match. Lets hope we get some answers at seasons end, we have imploded.
  8. I gave up caring about this season 2 months ago, but I'm actually pizzed off with that performance. Something stinks to high heaven about this mob.
  9. You'll be on your own soon, viewers surely won't put themselves thru this putrid drivel for much longer. Beyond awful. No more Friday games for us for a few years
  10. You got this one wrong doc. There were plenty on here questioning this very early in the season, particularly after Anzac Eve. Hard to disagree otherwise.
  11. Can't remember being less excited about watching our team. Dees are favourites in the wet.....Load up on the Bloods
  12. R22 Melb v Syd, Fri 16 Aug, 7.50pm, MCG IN: Spargo, Stretch, Neal-Bullen, Hore, Chandler OUT: May, O.McDonald, Hunt, Baker, Petty
  13. Difficult to watch, however I'm grateful an unwell child kept me home from watching it live in the cold. Glad it's nearly over.
  14. As long as Nev is on our list I'd say this would be worth the risk. He could not get a better mentor to get him into line in my opinion .
  15. Agree.... He was awful but we've got nothing to lose by playing him for the final few games, it's perfect opportunity to get games into him and a chop out for Max. Hore in for Lever (playing sore) May in for Hunt. Oscar in same boat as Pruess.... Was god awful but we need to play him, maybe throw him n May forward rotating. Result is irrelevant, time to experiment for 2020.
  16. Keilty amongst the best with 8 disposals and 22 dreamteam points??? Must have been 6 incredible handballs
  17. Pizzweak comment, he's far better than half the team out there tonight
  18. He's a Tiger fan whipping boy, they'll be stoked to get a trade for him..... No thanks.
  19. I don't know much about Keath to be honest, but there is a bit of a love fest for him in the media it seems. Someone started a thread about Frost to the wing which I initially thought no way, but it may be worth experimenting with these last few rounds when both Hore n May return. A bit of Frost Footy into out F50 would be far more unpredictable than bombing long like we do only for the opposition to pick us off every fuggn time.
