  1. I was at the game when Rance did that to Watts.. could've ripped his head off. such a [censored]
  2. agree. not a huge fan of T-Mac, but he tried his guts out today and contested as much as he could. despite *insert the dreaded inside 50/'connection' reference here* hibberd also tried really hard and the kid rivers was just unlucky a few times. still think he plays next week and happy to have them both in the backline as long as hibberd plays to the standard that he did today. rivers just needs to thicken up a bit. got pushed off the ball for an easy cats mark (guthrie?) in the goalsquare.
  3. you can't be too bloody nervous if you keep going for speccies! just completely out of his depth. no game sense.
  4. I was thinking of his comments when Jack marked it.. I thought straight through the big sticks. What did instead was quite crap.
  5. can't believe they didn't pull melbourne bitter...
  6. i thought that was meant to be may's job.. i think may and lever need to fix their kick-ins, our tackling/pressure needs to go back to 2018 levels & above and we need a goal-kicking forward, cos i just don't trust t-mac. he's a weird one.. could definitely kick 50, but could also end up with 20, having played all season.
  7. essendon without doubt.. i also feel we owe sydney a big defeats. north too.
  8. i was at their home ground today for work.. nice space. but sitting down having a coffee and they had a room full of pokies. gross. also, was there to support a young fella that i work with that is a mad saints fan. i had driven with him from preston to watch their captain's run training session and they all done by the time they were meant to be starting.. pretty poor for their (few) fans. wished i wore my dees scarf in their today.. quite an unlikeable club and this news headline doesn't make them any more appealing.
  9. hey guys, any idea on what time training might actually start tomorrow morning at gosch's? planning on heading down to checkout the new draftees. cheers in advance!
  10. awkward face in that interview... can't say he looks stoked to be a dee. really hope that they've done the right thing here!
  11. i wonder if that means that the hawks have locked in that we are taking Pickett. and if we did trade 10 and 28 for a few picks in the teens that they'd take Pickett over Taylor..?
  12. take him at 2 in the rookie draft like snoop doggy dog suggested in his phantom long beach draft forecast..
  13. if that could get us trent bianco, jeremy sharp that would be worthwhile..
  14. oh jesse..... mate. just come back to the dees and play the link role. i''ll even go surfing with ya and you can have my old skateboard. carn
  15. I just can't see the club going for Jackson. I predict they'll bid for Tom Green, GWS will match and then we will go for Young. 10 - Pickett 28 - A medium-sized mid, with speed, like Hugh Ralphsmith If they do the above, I will be happy. I don't believe Jason Taylor would've been honest and upfront with the Road to the Draft guys and really doubt our interest in Jackson..
  16. his awareness and thinking ahead of where the ball is gonna drop is really good in this footage.. we can surely work on his natural gifts to get him more involved in games. pickett def seems to have traits that weightman/serong can only dream of.
  17. ok. all aboard. i'm keen. but please don't waste 3 on jackson! anyone else, its just DUMB. happy to take picket at 10, but prefer it if we could possible get another pick under 20 as well.. hopefully there's secret deals going on behind the scenes and the recruitment staff are smarter than they have been the past few years. don't waste assets/picks.
  18. definitely powerful but also maybe ‘stodgy’?
  19. he sorta runs like my dad. not exactly a smooth mover..:-/ rather speed or dare (see stephens, etc)
