I think Willie Rioli's case took 18 months to get to a resolution. Then his 2 year penalty was backdated to reflect his time in limbo. Looks like we might be a player down for a while yet.

The sliding doors are extra bigulous on this one, plus the random 2020 draft. We got done by Geelong though. They beat us to Isaac Smith, then jumped us in the draft for Holmes. So we looked to Rosman for wing2, then plugged, first with Hunter and now with Billings (also shout out to Gus). Got a flag, they got a flag. Lingers is a bit down since.

This night has become my favourite home and away game. It's hauntingly beautiful build up is something to behold. So proud our country and game continues to give the respect and love to those taken from their families and loved ones. This one will be the first without our beloved RDB, which makes it even more emotional. I personally lost an uncle I never knew on HMAS Sydney. Another uncle was a POW in Changi. A postcard he sent from there is a one of my most treasured possessions. Fortunately, both my, and my wife's, father came back to us, relatively unscathed. Of course, we never really know the mental scars they lived with. Our club lost at least 30 players in the word wars and countless injured and I love that our B & F is named after one of them. I will be there, no doubt with a tear in my eye, but it won't be due to the result. ❤️💙🇦🇨

I'm certain OOZE will be pushing every coaching button known to win this one. But it it just aint going to happen! I predict we will be up and about tonight and get away to a flyer and go to a comfortable win. I would really like to see a blinder from Clarrie to show the footy world he's back to being the superstar we Dees fans know. I also reckon Kozzie will enjoy the big stage and produce some magic. It's Game Day and the Demons once again open the round of football with their annual clash against Richmond on ANZAC Eve. The Tigers, coached by former Dees champion and Premiership assistant coach Adem Yze have a plethora of stars missing due to injury but beware the wounded Tiger. The Dees will have to be switched on tonight. A win will keep them in the hunt for the Top 4 whilst a loss could see them fall out of the 8 for the first time since 2020.

It isn’t just you RIF, the AFL have literally given them quotas for attendance to expand the season that are higher than the max attendance of the grounds they are forced to play at. So while you may glibly say that the AFLW team doesn’t need a grandstand can I respectfully push back and say that I want to take my daughter and son to watch Kate, Tayla, Alyssa, and Eliza in a [censored] covered, seated area. We can’t grow the game when it’s deliberately stuck in a bottle by those that are purported to be running it.
