  1. 6. Petracca 5. Viney 4. Gawn 3. Brayshaw 2. Neal Bullen 1. Pickett
  2. Delist Harmes! Unforgivable to miss those 2 shots.
  3. Disappointing result but were outplayed for 3 quarters and only lost by 4 points. A couple of game changers were Rivers poor kick that led to a goal to Port and JVR’s head high tackle in our backline as well as JVR giving away a free kick by retaliating.
  4. 6. Petracca 5. Viney 4. Oliver 3. Rivers 2. Hunter 1. Hibberd I thought Petty (until injured) was excellent.
  5. 6. Viney 5. Grundy 4. McDonald 3. Petracca 2. Fritsch 1. Oliver
  6. 6. Pickett 5. Lever 4. Petracca 3. Oliver 2. Gawn 1. Brown Honerable mentions to Chandler, Tomlinson and Spargo.
  7. Free kick Bulldogs! Enough said... Langdon.. I thought he struggled on his wing and hasn't played well since having his ribs broken in the game against North. Trac.. no where near his best form. Not playing in beast mode and doesn't look as fit as last season. May.. good game apart from an extremely poor decision in the last quarter that potentially cost us the game. Why didn't he slow down the game and kick long? No tackles in the forward 50...where has our forward pressure gone? ANB, Spargo, Kozzie.. that's their role! Oliver.. lots of possessions but lots under pressure and quite a few not effective. Weideman.. was ok... we need to change up our forward line and give it a different look. Bring in JvR or play Petty, Hunt or Smith forward.
  8. Bloody terrible umpiring is costing us this game.
  9. Petracca's half effort cost us a goal. Why are we lacking so much confidence in our forward half. Better off attacking the goal. How many times do miss gettable shots on goal with no wind at the ground. Our kicking has gone backwards this season. ?lIt is so bloody frustrating. We need a forward in this team. Why didn't we pick JvR this round. Perfect opportunity to debut.
  10. We did finish 6th on the ladder in 1976 and should have made the finals that season. We missed out because Footscray was able to draw with the top side Carlton in the last round after we had beaten Collingwood at Vic Park to give them their first ever wooden spoon. I attended that game as a 10 year old with my late Dad and my brother who was 8 at the time.
