Mate that is dribble. If in your opinion he's not fit enough then why is he selected to play at CHB the majority of the time? I trust the fitness coaches at the club might have a better idea of what position Frost is capable of playing.

If Port Adelaide can carry that pea heart Lindsay Thomas, then we can play Jeffy. Thomas wouldn't be worthy of carrying Jeffy's bags. Don't wait for a break out performance at Casey. He's a Rolls Royce driving around a Warrigul Road car yard there.

I watch him most weeks. He plays well against bottom teams. They had a small forward line with no much talent. When he plays well against top team you can call for his promotion.

Didn't see any of the game, but it's terrific to see Weideman kick 7.  Poor opposition or not, he's still done well to jag that many and puts himself in the frame for an immediate recall.

The rest don't exactly get me excited and, if we don't have any injuries, I don't we'll make more than 1 or 2 changes for the St. Kilda game this week.

Nev says hello, he is at the back all the time, but he has actually improved his times, as has the whole team

Issue I have with Frost is his reading of the game, that's why he gets caught out, give him a one on one job and he is ok

frost offers speed. sure, his kicking and decision making is iffy but so was tom mcdonald in his first 6 years as a defender. im not saying frost is going to be better or anything like that but at least he takes the game on and tries to break the lines. we only have 2 players on our list that do that. hunt and frost.

I say Mr Miracle, Pedo has played as a defender previously for MFC, perhaps as a 'new' supporter you didn't see those games

Disappointed I was hoping every player was going to find ripping form playing a bum team like Coburg but it only looks like Weed, Frost and Stretch found form. Disappointed in the form of the 3 I wanted in in Petty, Baker and Garlett I was hoping they would star.

So the only change I would make for the seniors would be Weed in for T.Smith

It must be, and also covering our bases.   If OMc got injured, or rubbed out,,, we would be in a strudel.

But he could be handy, he's played there before.   And, IMO,,,  we could do a lot worse than giving Pedo one more year, for these same reasons.

I can imagine both Smiths coming out, for your Weide and Frost.

I would like to see Stretch in this week, after the last couple of games showed a lack of leg speed in our team.

Great to have Weideman back in form (against absolute battlers in Coburg) but I'm still yet to be convinced 3 talls works for us. Pedersen was in consistently great form but when he came in to the side the balance of the forward line was a mess. Weideman played against Ess, Saints and GC so it's not easy to work out how well the 3 worked with him but when Smith came in we destroyed Carl and Adelaide. 

Tim Smith sold not be our 2nd ruck option.  He should be our 3rd tall forward...   playing 3rd tall and R/Roving. - maybe Petracca rests ?

Your spot on abut Pedo, he came into a tired team, which played crapp.   Not his fault.

Maybe your right, its time to rest a couple of names players, one at a time.  Let them hone their hunger again.  and earn a spot back.

You're going a bit early there DV8. 

Performing in the VFL is one thing. The step up to AFL is a whole different ball game. If there are people suggesting that Frost isn't up to it - that is probably due to his AFL performances (which weren't good enough or he wouldn't be playing VFL) They won't be wearing any egg on their faces until Frost can replicate his VFL form in the AFL. He simply hasn't done that. He needs to or he will be delisted.

Smith doesn't at all play like a small pressuring player, he's a lead up forward and didn't work with Hogan and TMac, they all flew for the ball too often together. So I think he'll come out for Weid, Weid is a much better ruck, has had games where he's put great pressure on (Adelaide last year) but most importantly seemed to know when to time his leads better in those games he played. If Smith stays in then we are playing 3 talls anyway, and we surely wouldn't try and run with 4. While Hogan had a poor game I think he was still at least on par with Smith and Tracc was much better, don't look to drop guys on name, the same as they should get games on name alone either.

Hey guys.....not sure maybe I was vague.  By Sam I meant Weideman.

Sure Sam Frost may come into calculation but SW is surely a certainty.  A good young forward learning his craft very nicely.

@Deemania since 56 if you are talking about Stretch - probably 70% of his possessions were first touch possies and 30% receiving from others. Really good game from him.

I've been going early Re the Weide, since I called for him to be drafted by us.

Prayed for a little Weide in the xmas stocking.  and duly delivered.
