Bit tough my friend. Yes, his commentary today was pretty poor. He has also watched his son go through the unimaginable and any father would want to stick up for his son given the circumstances.

It kind of felt like the commentators were told to talk up St Kilda today, maybe they thought if they did that they'd be entitled to an easier whack when the wheels fell off?

Although in general how bad was BT, didn't know about Tracc's finger, said numerous times that Webster caused the 50 meter penalty which went to the saints (even argued with the others when they pointed out it couldn't have been a teammate the ran through the protected area. - Commentators work for channel 7. 

- Channel 7 has the broadcast rights with the AFL. 

- CEO of the AFL is Gil

- Gil is a Saints supporter. 

Ipso facto the commentators support the saints - they know which side their bread is buttered on?

But I don't think that means they hate Melbourne.

The ump was in perfect position on the behind line against the post. No hesitating with his decision. Watson refused to even acknowledge that.

A very unimpressive commentator on all sport. You would expect him to be very knowledgeable about footy but his commentary never suggests that he has any additional knowledge over the average punter.

Adds very no insight or makes little comment that adds to the value of commentary. He is there for his special comments but makes no special comments.

He appears to lack objectivity.

And he certainly damns Melbourne with faint praise.
