Discussion on recent allegations about the use of illicit drugs in football is forbidden
  • IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

Posting unsubstantiated rumours on this website is strictly forbidden.

Demonland has made the difficult decision to not permit this platform to be used to discuss & debate the off-field issues relating to the Melbourne Football Club including matters currently being litigated between the Club & former Board members, board elections, the issue of illicit drugs in footy, the culture at the club & the personal issues & allegations against some of our players & officials ...

We do not take these issues & this decision lightly & of course we believe that these serious matters affecting the club we love & are so passionate about are worthy of discussion & debate & I wish we could provide a place where these matters can be discussed in a civil & respectful manner.

However these discussions unfortunately invariably devolve into areas that may be defamatory, libelous, spread unsubstantiated rumours & can effect the mental health of those involved. Even discussion & debate of known facts or media reports can lead to finger pointing, blame & personal attacks.

The repercussion is that these discussions can open this website, it’s owners & it’s users to legal action & may result in this website being forced to shutdown.

Our moderating team are all volunteers & cannot moderate the forum 24/7 & as a consequence problematic content that contravenes our rules & standards may go unnoticed for some time before it can be removed.

We reserve the right to delete posts that offend against our above policy & indeed, to ban posters who are repeat offenders or who breach our code of conduct.

WE HAVE BUILT A FANTASTIC ONLINE COMMUNITY AT DEMONLAND OVER THE PAST 23 YEARS & WE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO BE ABLE TO DISCUSS THE CLUB WE LOVE & ARE SO PASSIONATE ABOUT.

Thank you for your continued support & understanding. Go Dees.

Laughable. When did you ever live and work in Europe? What do you know about the day to day lives of we here who do, and the role/place of muslims in that?

I know muslims who are doctors, lawyers, in the army etc., and I work with/for/around muslims all the time - their interests and concerns are the same as mine ... what the hell was that goalkeeper thinking ... are my kids spending too much time on Social Media ... is my elderly mother getting the care that she needs etc. etc.

What you're doing is just ignorantly demonising a whole population on the basis of their race and religion. For which there's a term.

Actually, the origin of that article is, surprise surprise, Breitbart. All the other sites that ran it use the original story or quote it. No reputable publication has gone anywhere near it, for obvious reasons.

Somewhat ironic that ProDee should be citing one of Sweden's leading feminists.

Rape statistics for 2016 - Sweden vs Poland. Sweden: - 10 million inhabitants. - 6 715 rapes - 11% successfully cleared up.

Poland: - 40 million inhabitants. - 1 383 rapes. - 80% successfully cleared up. Seems like Sweden is not functioning properly.

Wonder why ?

Rather than wonder, you could have checked. But it's easier just to regurgitate what you've been spoonfed from Breitbart.

Here:

"What we're hearing is a very, very extreme exaggeration based on a few isolated events, and the claim that it's related to immigration is more or less not true at all," says Jerzy Sarnecki, a criminologist at Stockholm University.

Sweden does indeed have far more reported cases of sexual assault than any other country. But it's not because Swedes – of any colour – are very criminal. It's because they're very feminist.

Imagine, for example, if your boss rubbed against you in an unwanted way at work once a week for a year. In Canada, this would potentially be a case of sexual assault. Under Germany's laws, it would be zero cases. In Sweden, it would be tallied as 52 separate cases of rape.

The marked increase in rape cases during the 2000s is almost entirely a reflection of Sweden's deep public interest in sexual equality and the rights of women, not of attacks by newcomers.

Crime rates are mostly a product not of ethnicity but of class. In a 2013 analysis of 63,000 Swedish residents, Prof. Sarnecki and his colleagues found that 75 per cent of the difference in foreign-born crime is accounted for by income and neighbourhood, both indicators of poverty. Among the Swedish-born children of immigrants, the crime rate falls in half and is 100-per-cent attributable to class – they are no more likely to commit crimes, including rape, than ethnic Swedes of the same income family."

I tell you what, I'll put in more work on this lawyer if you comment on all of these concerns from a previous post that you've conveniently ignored.  There's lots to digest, but be sure not to miss anything...

You're unaware of the problems mass migration from Islamic countries has caused in Europe ?

You're unaware that 1200 Germans  were assaulted on new year's eve in 2015, including close to 500 sexual assaults, and that officials linked the assaults with the rapid influx of refugees ?

As for Sweden...

In 1975, the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the former homogeneous Sweden into a multicultural country. Forty years later the dramatic consequences of this experiment emerge: violent crime has increased by 300%.

If one looks at the number of rapes, however, the increase is even worse. In 1975, 421 rapes were reported to the police; in 2014, it was 6,620. That is an increase of 1,472%.

Sweden is now number two on the global list of rape countries.

Twenty-one research reports from the 1960s until today are unanimous in their conclusions: Whether or not they're measured by the number of convicted rapists or men suspected of rape, men of foreign extraction were represented far more than Swedes. And this greater representation of persons with a foreign background keeps increasing:

  • 1960-1970s – 1.2 to 2.6 times as often as Swedes
  • 1980s – 2.1 to 4.7 times as often as Swedes
  • 1990s – 2.1 to 8.1 times as often as Swedes
  • 2000s – 2.1 to 19.5 times as often as Swedes

Even when adjusted for variables such as age, sex, class and place of residence, the huge discrepancy between immigrants and Swedes remains.

Research reports on crime in Sweden have become a rarity, but among the eighteen that were done during the 1990s and the 2000s, eleven dealt with rape. Two of these reports dealt with the connection between rape and immigration, and they both confirmed that there is a link.

Since 2000, there has only been one research report on immigrant crime. It was done in 2006 by Ann-Christine Hjelm from Karlstads University.

It emerged that in 2002, 85% of those sentenced to at least two years in prison for rape in Svea Hovrätt, a court of appeals, were foreign born or second-generation immigrants.

And @hardtack you mention 1996 ?

A 1996 report by the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention reached the conclusion that immigrants from North Africa (Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia) were 23 times as likely to commit rape as Swedish men. The figures for men from Iraq, Bulgaria and Romania were, respectively, 20, 18 and 18. Men from the rest of Africa were 16 times more prone to commit rape; and men from Iran, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, 10 times as prone as Swedish men.

You already posted that in a response to one of my earlier posts... I will defer to Bing’s excellent posts as that pretty much covers it.

The old I know plenty of good Muslims line.  Can you miss the point more ?

Clearly, I'm speaking about orthodox Muslims, not westernised Muslims.  I'm talking about those who pray 5 times a day, regularly attend Mosques, live on welfare, think their wives are third class citizens, and have sympathy for those who wish us harm.

If a Muslim follows islam to its natural intent they're a danger to the West.  If they're Muslim in name only and don't follow the literal teachings of the Qur'an then they're a danger to nobody.

A quarter of British Muslims want to live under sharia.  Half think homosexuality should be illegal.  I could go on, but it means nothing to you.

It's fair to say I have zero concerns about the local westernised European Muslim doctor.  Who would ?  But I do have concerns about the hundreds of thousands who hate the West, do not integrate and zero respect for women.

Google "students walking out on national anthem" to understand the clashes of culture.

Name a western country that has been enriched by Islam ?  Just one will do.

Keppe your Leftist head in the sand.  Islam loves Leftists.  They consider you a useful idiot.

Why do you froth at the mouth over the source ?  Why not concentrate on the facts ?

Obviously, and I mean obviously, Breitbart will report things the Leftist media won't.  Thank God for a group like Breitbart, who don't shield or try to cover up the news when it comes to Islam.

The Leftist media don't trust you to form an independent view, so they don't report on what they don't want you to hear.

Yet you have the audacity to criticise a source that will.

And you feel triumphant about it.  The stupidity of Leftists never ceases to amaze.

I'm well aware of those that try to water down the seriousness of sexual assault in Sweden.  It panders to dumb arses who don't like facing the truth about a benighted culture.  I also accept that there are nuances in the way the Swedes report crime.  But if you think they don't have a problem and that the only issue is their categorisation of sexual assault then you really do kid yourself.

I'll keep reporting the sexual assault that is happening in Sweden, including the report about a poor teenager that was recently raped and tortured by Muslims, had lighter fluid inserted in her [censored] and was set alight.

Then there's this advice that was retracted by Swedish police:

"Police in Sweden have retracted their “unfortunate” advice that women should not go out alone after dark.

Local police in Malmö made a public statement saying women should stay indoors when it gets dark following the rape of a 17-year-old girl."

Wonder why they retracted their advice ?  Naturally, the Leftist government in Sweden wanted to allay any fears and also didn't want to offend their Islamic population.

Your posts on this topic border on fanatical, loony, ignorant - for example women have not historically worn hijabs in Iran - and they come from a place of absolute bigotry, not unlike the fanatical antisemitism of the Nazis and the murderous race hatred of the Ku Klux lunatics. You should be ashamed of yourself.

It is you who should be ashamed.  Ashamed of your intellect and hypocrisy.

The hijab, niqab, and especially the burqa oppress women all over the world.  They are the ultimate symbol of their subjugation at the hands of Islam.

As for antisemitism ?  It's the Left that are Israel-hating weirdos.  I'm pro Israel.  I'm pro the only true democracy in the middle east.  I'm pro their wonderful leader.  I'm pro the Jewish people.

It's the Left that wallow in identity politics.  I care not about a person's colour, but I care massively about their culture.  There is no place for Islam in the West.  And plenty of cultures are vile.

    DEPTH CHARGE by Whispering Jack

The jubilation on the coach’s face as he danced a celebratory jig by the playing bench after the final siren sounded to record his team’s four-point victory over the Demons when the teams last met, said it all.    On that rainy Friday night at the Adelaide Oval, Ken Hinkley’s young midfield secured much more than four points on offer. The victory over one of the big dogs of the competition after a succession of wins over some of its lesser lights gave his team respect and validation fo

For too long in the past, Demon fans became habitually sick and tired of watching the Hawks hand out thrashings to their side.
