There is a role for Bugg

Leg speed like for like, both as slow as treacle. Bugg couldn't go with the likes of Danger...
  2. Think outside the box...look for up and comers on the fringe at other clubs, don't just recycle the same names. Trade our not getting a games or what we have surplus of & trade for needs... Look to trade in to the first round with a package of players.

    The Clarry Pass

He's also quite strong overhead so expect to see this more in the future...plus he's a pretty decent kick on the left.

    Mr Jones

There are some pretty mean spirited & unjustified things posted on this thread. Seriously....

POST MATCH DISCUSSION - Round 17

Fritsch is a real footballer 'John'...so good to watch him play & he's going to get a whole lot better. As for the game, I reckon that was a pretty convincing win after coming back from Darwin which has always been a tough ask in the past.

    Go and get Gaff!

Thanks for your thoughts Adam... If you are thinking of trading Hogan in a deal for a free agent then you are highly overrating Gaff. A few might also be overrating Tommy Mac if they think we could do without Hogan.

    Go and get Gaff!

What is this group speak/think you speak of? Don't confuse mob rule with a small bunch of posters who want to engage you back & forth. I see many varied opinions on Gaff and most topics on this forum. I hardly remember a consensus opinion on anything.

    Round 17 Non MFC Games

Ablett has them both covered 'mono'...in his whole career I honestly think he believes not one free paid against him was there, nor anytime he's near the ball that he didn't deserve one. ...plus he's now become a real team player in his later years at Geelong and believes the same above applies to all his teammates.

    Go and get Gaff!

Realise that Tim is a Saints supporter for a start, I haven't found him to be WA biased. A bit of a screw loose at times...yeah. ...but I guess we wait and see on Gaff. I would be looking for the next player about to make his mark or not getting opportunity and targeting them rather than or in conjunction with a big fish type player anyway. I'm sure we are...Yeo & Dockerty were taken out of Brisbane and became pretty decent players. Maybe there is one at GC, I know the AFL wouldn't be happy but it's not our job to prop up GC. The Tiges have some small forwards maybe worth a shot.

    Dayne Beams

...not so sure. When he left there were rumours of a rift with Bucks so who knows. Would be a great addition to our list.

    Fun fact

Trouble is the team that won it in 2016 didn't feature in Luff's premiership window...

    Petracca in a rut?

Fyfe & Judd could also butcher the ball with the best of them but I think you would still take their abilities to turn a match with their individual brilliance despite this weakness don't you 'S'?
  13. Hope he's ok now mate...feel for him. Nothing worse than on a day like today playing in defence and the balls stuck up the other end for most of the game, the rains poring down and the winds cutting through. At least when we played on the old muddy grounds a good layer of mud would insulate you a bit.
  14. 28yo, charismatic, smart and has both sides running scared. Running on policy rather than personality. She might just turn the establishment on it's head...

    New CEO - Gary Pert

By my reckoning we haven't won a game since he was announced as the new CEO. Looks like he's lost the players before he's even started.
