Saw Fritsch play several times this year out at Casey and the kid has talent to burn. Brilliant in the air for his build, good initial acceleration without being Jayden Hunt like and he tackles with intensity. I'd be very suprised if Bayley doesn't make the grade and have no doubt he'll play senior footy in 2018 baring injury. We've got a beauty!
  2. Billy Hartung

Less then 24 hours left in trade period. Worth throwing Pick 47 to Hawthorn for this guy and see what we can do with him???
  3. Farewell Jack Watts

Never said he was. I was responding to someone saying we should package Watts with our 2nd Round pick to get Pick 14 off Port. To which my response was Port don't have Pick 14 or any any 1st Round pick if you read my post.
  4. Farewell Jack Watts

Shame Port don't have Pick 14 or any 1st Round Pick this year for that matter.
  5. Me to. Jon Griffin or Shaun McKernan (if he gets delisted) fit the bill for mine.
  6. Thanks for that IT Graphs and everything is above and beyond!
  7. Hmmm. I read the rule differently. But I stand to be corrected.
  8. You sure about that DN9, my understanding was different. http://www.afl.com.au/afl-hq/the-afl-explained/rookie-players
  9. Nope. Mitch White's been delisted. Maynard promoted to Cat A rookie & Joel Smith promoted to senior list. Your allowed a total of 6 Category A & B rookies. So assuming we don't sign any Category B rookies then we can take 2 picks to the rookie draft.
  10. Yep, Once Watts is traded, that's 7 list spots we've created (6 senior & 1 rookie). Although promoting J.Smith makes it 5 & 2. The addition of Lever & Balic (when done) leaves us at 3 & 2. Allows us to either make one last stealth trade for an outside running midfielder (Aaron Hall/Luke Dalhaus perhaps) or pick up a delisted free agent (Zac Clarke, Sharrod Wellingham etc) . Take 2 picks to the ND & 2 to the RD.
  11. Aaron Hall

Watts & Pick 47 to Port Aaron Young & Pick 30 to Gold Coast Hall & Pick 57 to Melbourne Trade Pick 57 to Freo for Balic. Get it done Dees! Note: This isn't a rumor I've heard. Just something I think suits all parties where everyone can walk away happy. We then go to the draft with Picks 28 & 66 and upgrade Joel Smith to the senior list for our third list change.
  12. Trade rumours

Just repeating what my mate text me this morning.
  13. Trade rumours

STRINGER TRADE Essendon send Francis to Adelaide & Pick 23 to Dogs. Adelaide send Cameron & Pick 16 to Lions Brisbane send Pick 12 back to Adelaide & Schache to Dogs Dogs send Stringer & Pick 27 to Bombers. Mate of mine reckons he was told by Baguley who he played juniors with.

Something doesn't make sense to me about this trade. The rules are pretty clear that if you trade a future 1st Round pick, you can't trade any of your other future picks, yet somehow we're trading our future 1st & 4th Round Picks. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-08-06/future-trading-given-goahead-but-with-restrictions I'm not to concerned about the cost we've paid for Lever. Lets say worst case scenario, both teams finish in the same position as last year. It means we've paid Pick 10x2 (1395+1395) and a Pick 64 (101) which totals 2891. Adelaide have paid Pick 35 (522) a Pick 53 (233) which totals 755 leaving a shortfall of 2136 (Lever's worth) which falls inbetween Pick 3 & 4, which is probably close to what he'd be worth in a straight swap. All balances out for me.
