Wouldn't be the first coach to be out coached by Clarko.

Agree with your comments. Lever was Brave today. There were a handful of players who continually put their head over the ball and their bodies on the line and he was one of them. Frost has a lot of attributes, but football smarts aren't one of them. Can be depended upon to give away multiple free kicks every match by doing dumb s***.

Which is exactly what Richmond fans said of Hardwick.

Please drop Lewis Goody
-
I agree, but sadly I don't think the FD will be brave enough to drop Lewis, but it would send the right sort of message Goodwin wants the players to bring in terms of non-negotiables.
-
Clarkson expects his players to play hard uncompromising football. We don't play hard, uncompromising football, we have a bunch of milksops who run off to the AFLPA instead of confronting the FD about a camp they'd rather not do.

OUT: Bugg, Harmes, Melksham.

Bit hard on Max his job is to get his hand on the ball, it's his midfielders job to get to the fall. Oliver had 29 touches (25 contested) where were his mates? God Help us if Pedo or Weids change the outcome. We all know that the players that would have made a difference today are Jack and Tom who are both comfortably in our best 6-8 players. We were soft and ineffectual around the ball with no clean users. Hawthorn understandably have a better drilled team with a better system, but it was our lack of intensity after quarter time that was the killer.

Don't know I wasn't in the rooms, but the footage usually shows them talking to their line coaches. I assume Ben Matthews as the midfield coach is under the most pressure, as the run ons sides get usually start and finish in the midfield.

No Max pantsed McEvoy in the Ruck. A second tall whether Weideman (1 good game in a row) or Pedo (still only playing half a game in the twos). The problem was our smalls were either missing (Garlett and Fritsch before the final quarter) or were mediocre (Melksham), poor (Harmes) or a complete liability (Bugg). It also would have helped if we could get another onballer to assist Oliver. We played really dumb footy. Nitpicking I know, but we have four injuries. vandenBerg I think would be handy as a bigger body.
-
Yes he did, he mentioned it in his pre match interview that they needed to play wet weather football.
-
I said to my better half he should enjoy the last free kick of the game because it will be the last one of his AFL career. He should never play seniors again. He is a complete liability. Surely even guys like Spargo and Baker would be better options.
-
I wouldn't take that as gospel, it's what it may have looked like to the poster, but it's not any sort of confirmation there is any issue at all with Gus. He's always looked pretty intense during games.

Good to see it's not just us that Menzel kicks cheap goals against.

Tacked onto the original Oliver fine this is a bit misleading, I went looking to see what he'd been fined for, but only Lewis has been fined. It should have it's own thread.
