    GAMEDAY - Round 22

Loving: - Weids contested grabs - Vanders contested play - Tracs effort (but kick from further behind the mark) - Gawny all round game - Clarry. Enough said.

Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 22

These are exactly the changes I asked for earlier in this thread. If we lose, it’s my fault. I reckon we’ve got this. Cancel your September holidays.

    Troy Pannell Retiring

Did us no favours at all umpiring the Saints game. I thought he’d already hung up his whistle during that game and was just having a weekend jog.

    Changes v West Coat - Round 22

He wasn’t in my top 3 for votes Saty. If you want to only look at stats that support your argument, JKH gained 128m with those 14 disposals which barely rated as average (9m per disposal). You would hope he’d be effective moving the ball 9m forward. 0 1% acts in 4 quarters of footy. My preference would be Kent over JKH, that’s all.

    Changes v West Coat - Round 22

Agree with all of this. My main concern with JKH is the gap between his best, which is OK, and his worst, which just about put Nathan Jones in hospital when he kicked his hospital pass in the game against the Suns and provided Jonesy with a nice shiner. There's just too much bandwidth on his game for my liking, hopefully it doesn't bite us in the arse come Sunday night.

    Changes v West Coat - Round 22

I like these changes Red, and whilst we only lost by 9 points, so 5 changes seems ridiculous, I'd also like to replace JKH with Hannan.

    Sam Weideman

My apologies Febes, a bit early in the morning. I reckon he’s the quintessential project player, all the signs are there; I’m confident he will come good (including his contested marking)

    Sam Weideman

That’s a bit condescending I reckon Febes, Weids does crack in

If we beat Meth Coast I will ...

Wonder aloud as to the fine efforts of number 4. You know, I am almost certain he didn’t have tattoos last year. The things these lads get up to in the off season.

    Changes v West Coat - Round 22

5 goals might still not be enough - Umpires will give them 4 over there and we lost by 9 points

Hogan 2018 season over with foot injury

I’d reckon we’ve got 45 players on the list who are single minded in their desire to win (at least I hope we do). I understand it’s an injury, and that how the player feels has a bearing on whether he plays out the game; but this is Jack Viney 2.0. He’s not just having a rest the next week, he’s continued playing on it (potentially exacerbated the injury) and now won’t play until next year. Hopefully he doesn’t have a Trengove inspired rehab. My view is the medical team should intervene for foot related issues in much the same way as concussion.

Hogan 2018 season over with foot injury

Well I reckon we needed to do something different this weekend while we still can. Hopefully this negative inspires a positive change in our forward structure. Unfortunate for Jesse. I really don’t know though why he played the game out after he complained his foot was very sore after the half time break and was clearly hobbling off the ball.

MRO findings for round 21: Clarry charged with making umpire contact with Fleer (careless). Maybe that’s why he only paid us 1 free for the day. Given our luck, I was fully expecting OMac to be charged for intentionally cleaning up Chelsea Roffey and getting 2 weeks 🤨

    Who is our Forward coach?

We're consistently getting 60+ forward 50 entries per game, we actually need to focus on: 1. the quality of the ball going into forward 50 = lower the eyes = midfield coach 2. the speed of the ball coming back out of forward 50 and waltzing through the middle of the ground, putting pressure on pagans paddock behind the high press defense = midfield not working hard enough back defensively = midfield coach 3. Whoever is picking JKH to get a game = midfield coach? Who's the midfield coach?

The Last Time They Met - Round 22

You've fixed the smiling face on the Centreline. 😞 Maybe you can now move on to fixing our record against top 8 sides. Or our goal kicking accuracy, if you're feeling really energetic.

Has Nicholls ever paid us a free?

Not usually in the camp of blaming the umpires, but Nicholls was frustrating me this arvo to the point of kicking seats at the G. He’d either: 1. Allow a non officiating umpire to call a free our way 2. Deem the contest halved, even if he’d just paid a free to them for the same thing 3. Give them a free, even if we’d done enough to win the free once or twice over before he could ping us third time up. We’ll never get a fair result with him at the helm. #cheatingbaldprick
